Achievements in SoD?

Why not. After all it‘s Classic PLUS more.
With the phases in between leveling it really gives enough time to do low lvl dungeons, low lvl raid, pvp and so why not achievement hunting?

Classic era dont have achivements, to make one thing clear, I hate achivements but would it fit in a CLASSIC PLUS enviorment, sure why not? But dont tell anyone what should be in a classic+ enviorment, you can say your opinion but why would it not fit? Its “more content” first of all and some ppl like going after achivements.

If this is the only problem than the solution is simple. Eliminate instance achievments and keep only Exploration, quest ones. But that is not really true is it? Gatekeeping exists in game with or without achievements. Gear inspections before join are both more time consuming and more rage inducing than achievement gatekeeping.

Yeah I agree. Honestly I’ve never ever seen someone asking me for an achievement check before raid.
And I really enjoy the fact that I can say and remind myself that I’ve cleared all the Instances in Kalimdor say, or that I’ve slain last boss of [enter dungeon].

I wouldn’t mind achievements. The same as is for classic content in WotLk + a few especially for SoD, like the new raids/dungeons, maybee getting all your runes or such. I’m an altoholic, but I still like achievements. I think they are fun. If you don’t like them, don’t do them.
