Didn’t achievements pop up in guild chat whenever someone achieved them? Did they remove that on purpose?
Yes they did, not seen any comments about this from Blizzard, they were probably just too lazy to add it.
I hope they add them, adds a bit of “guild feeling” 
Everyone uses attune anyway for that really annoying spam.
This is one bug I was happy that was in the game and some bloody addon author goes and does the same crap.
The Addon AchievementSound gives you this and the sound effect back 
They’re definitely working on it at least. You can see the achievements in chat of nearby people, used to see nothing. So maybe in a few weeks we’ll see guildies achievements and another week after maybe the sound effect.
