Hey, im using the original blizzard ui without addons that interact with it. I have the problem that randomly when I’m flying around on my mount or chill in ogrimmar ( out of combat ) 1-2 spells on my Actionbar glow ?! For example my Rune of power border glows like if I was clicking it, Even doe I never did. Also sometimes a random mount I have binded on my actionbar gets this Border glow even doe ive not used or pressed it. Only way to fix this is to activate that spell once or mount up on that mount. Afterwards the glow goes away. It’s pretty irritating doe. ( I’m not using any addon that interferes with my actionbars ) is this a common bug ? Does anyone else have this bug sometimes ? Cheers.
Sorry for the late reply, yes, I’ve seen this on different characters. It’s only been happening for a few weeks or maybe a month or two, it’s infrequent so hard to say when it started. Like you I use a standard UI, I’ve never had any addons installed.
My opinion is that it’s due to the action bars being updated when you perform some actions, getting on a flying mount, e.g. because that puts you in taxi-mode.
On warlocks I have the pet signature ability on my action bar and that changes to a default icon when I’m on a flight, same as the Maldraxus contruct ability changes when you don’t have a construct active. My view is that these are connected with the issue, but that’s just a hunch on my part.
