It was a thing, but a while back. I think it would be nice and makes sense. Frost DK has the same setup and it works there. Could bring some nice difference between the 2 main builds. Would be just cool, and awesome, and also sick.

I’ve made a post about it couple of days ago, and been saying it for years, even if it won’t be good or op and noone will play it just let us have FUN! Just make stormstrike being usable while holding 2h and that’s it, FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN that’s what we want!

1000% need to have 2hander option , atleast make us be able to Tmog into 2hander its been so long that people keep askin for it.

Yea when I saw the changes and it said it no longer requires an off hand to cast I got so happy, thought that they finally listened, but still can’t use it with 2h, they just don’t want us to have fun, we’ve been posting for years and they don’t care
No thanks, im tired of reworks every patch now.
In the new raid there was a 2h drop with either str or agi stats and I was able to roll need on it. It is really strange that we have nothing to support this playstyle, but we can ninja loot them.

True, you can use it as ele but still doesn’t make sense, we should be able to use it!

I was never a thing. The only moment in time when it was a “thing” was in Vanilla with Sulfuras. But only because that weapon was so OP at the time that anyone that could use a 2h weapon had an OP boost in DPS.
This is the best solution IMO. And IMO they should actually expand on this.
Like mogging weapon+shield to staff. And things like that.
Yup , if paladins can do it and mog into their 2handed mace (Artifact) i see no reason that shaman wouldn’t be able to do it as we were created as the “Paladin” but for the horde (in Vanilla).
The funny thing is that we could and still can use 2handed maces/axes with stats that fit us just like feral druids/monks can duel wield or use 2handers , just don’t have abilities that work with it (For enhance), if not mistaken they changed it in Cata and up until Cata all our enhance abilities worked with 2handers i even remember myself running 2hander in Wotlk (I dont speak about if it was meta or not) but it did work.
Lets hope they give us Tmog option or new Hero talent that will fit/modify it somehow.
I am against “making it work” via talents…
Because I have seen this situation before. With warriors and DKs that actually got those talents.
People start by saying “I dont care if it underperforms, I only want to do it for esthetics”. But then, they will quickly change their mind and ask for “I want it to perform as good as all others”… And then Blizz will quickly realize that its impossible to do. And will leave that talent dead.
But the TMog option? YES PLEASE.
Think about it: Get a Prot Warrior, mog the sword with a spear. And run into a dungeon crying “FOR SPARTAAAA”… 
This is true to an extent but the thing is that we already have and will have it aka “Hero talents” we have underperformers each season so ppl run from Stormbringer into Totemic (I speak from pvp perspective), so in reality if they add as they said “More hero talents” and 1 of those will make 2h playable yeah we will see people run to play it or run into other hero talent .
Optimal path ofc is just to allow Tmoging into 2h.
Except that buffing Totemic or Farseer (in my case) dosent force me to farm another weapon, upgrade that weapon, and spend 10kg on echanting that weapon.
There is areason why Single Minded Fury is left forgotten (in the case of warriors). And Blizzard prefers not having to deal with it.
Because if they touch it in any way (buffing it or deleting it) there will be rivers of tears. From either side of the ile. Its the “forbidden talent” if you want to call it something.

Niche meme uses for that in PvP dont count. And only if you had Sulfuras (in Vanilla and TBC) or a super high level PvP weapon in WotlK. This allowed you to sometimes (if RNG aligned with Windfury) to 1-shot people if they were unprepared for it.
That is what you say now. Later on you will ask to be competitive in PvE with it, and not just a meme.

Look. I think Mogs are the way to go.
Oh so now you say it doesn’t count, well it counts for me and I’m sure many others, back then nobody was really playing it and it wasn’t playable but never saw people asking for it to be competitive in pve, we just want to have fun, get over it tryhard

Back then shamans were more worried that anything was more competitive than them and did not have a raid spot, other than to give BL.
But hey. Lets give you the benefit of the doubt. Lets assume that you dont mind to loose DPS but have a 2-hander. OK.
But changes to the spec affect EVERYONE. Not only you.
And as I said before: This happened already. With warriors in WotlK, and with DKs, and with Monks in MoP. So I am CERTAIN, at 100%, that this :
Dont be so sure. Instead of calling me “tryhard” (whatever that means) how about you tell me why, if it happened 3 times already, it wont happen a 4rth time? What makes Shamans so special?
I really want 2H, i keep looking at old Tauren shaman art work and see them swinging big 2 handed axes. I know i could play a warrior but i prefer the shaman theme and it fits a Tauren better.
