Add a middle east server for wow

I really think its more a case of the fact that Blizzard don’t want to take a financial loss by spending millions opening a Middle East office and data centre, populating said data centre with relevant hardware, etc.

The forum has spoken

I thought threads auto-closed after 1 month of no replies… what happent to that?

Soilwork needs to learn some social skills, it seems.

Oh damn, your right!

Funny this one didnt get locked but it might have been moved from Customer Support forum to General Discussion which might have caused a loophole

Had to bench myself Tuesday night.

there already private servers that are doing just that stealing blizzard’s intellectual property and the shills white knighting this behavior

Happens to me too sometimes :joy: ping like that is unplayable though. In the low hundreds its still doable though

just remember ms means millionths of a second and you will see there is no noticable differance between 50 ms and 200 ms

if u want world of warcraft just go outside lmao

Define the Middle East, where do you place one.

There’s also some of the very strict laws of what’s considered decent in the Middle East that oi assume WoW would probably fall under.

While you may think there’s lots of players is there enough for their own server.

If Blizzard thought one would be a financial success they would have done it years ago. The middle east is complicated (particularly for American companies.)

ms is miliseconds, one thousands of a second. 50ms is one twentieth of a second and 200 is one fifth of a second.

While you wont notice 50 ms you might in certain circumstances notice 200ms particularity when doing a reaction in Pvp. However those are your average latencies so there will be times where you will spike particularly during heavy data moments like raids and PvP fights.

Im Middle Eastern and i enjoy playing with Europeans. We have been doing it since the beginning of wow. If a Middle Eastern server is added numbers would go down.

Plus the Middle East is so diverse with languages: Arabic, Persian, Kurdish, Armenian, Hebrew, etc.

Plus Majority of the Middle Easterns speak fluent English.
