Before you go at me with “we PvP players get nothing”, I do NOT want to take anything away from you. You can keep your PvP Plunderstorm. But where is the hurt to add an additional mode for those players who do want to earn the rewards without having to engage in PvP?
Add a mode were people can just fight the mobs and loot the stuff, do the quests. I do not get why some people seemingly want to force other players into the PvP mode? Because you do not have enough players otherwise?
That doesn’t make any sense since PvE players won’t put in any effort into the PvP anyhow. How is that different from NPCs? What is the rational reason for trying to lure people into PvP with FOMO collection items who don’t want to participate?

We had this debate the first time plunderstorm came around.
It takes away the exclusivity and “difficulty” of actually engaging in the content, you are diminishing the rewards of other by getting to bypass the process.
A perfect example is the glad mounts.
I want them, but suck at pvp, so should blizzard add a way for me to get them without even touching pvp? Answer is no.
Or flip it around, should blizzard add a way for pvp players to get the ahead of the curve mounts without touching the raid? Answer is no.
The whole point of making something valuable is that you have to achieve something to have it. By removing that something you effectively decrease the worth of the initial reward.
I hope I could explain it atleast kinda understandibly.

Do you feel physical pain when you play this mode or what? Does someone put a gun to your head? These are only cosmetics, do what you need to do to get them or skip it.
Learn self-control.
The whole game does not have to cater to your obsessive demands.

I’ve often “PvE’d” right up to level 10 without having fought a single person ending with 2k plunder.
I find a lot of people just avoid each other for the first half of the game. I tend to land in Green or Yellow areas, completely avoiding Red areas.
That doesn’t answer the question how it is more difficult to cast your spells on PvE players who put zero effort and don’t really engage in the PvP versus casting your spells on NPCs?
Is this actually difficult for PvP players? So much so that it entitles to several exclusive mounts, pets, transmogs, etc.?
You could even argue it would be more difficult to have actual NPCs instead of other players. So how does that work for your argument?
Also, why wouldn’t they just reward just the one player who wins? Wouldn’t that actually make the rewards valuable instead of giving the currency to everyone?
Sorry, but I don’t see how your explanation actually explains the core of the issue.
I get a really strong pulse when I play it ( sry English isn’t my first language I don’t know how to describe it better) or PvP games in general.
And I simply don’t play it cause it doesn’t feel good. Don’t know whats so hard for some people

Okay…? That’s fine? Just don’t expect to get cosmetics then, simple as that. That’s the point.
Yes I was agreeing with you.
I actually get uncomfortable so I just don’t play it
What do you personally gain from keeping other players from getting these collectibles? Do your feefees get hurt from a player who doesn’t like PvP getting a pet crab?
Some stuff is just awarded from things you don’t enjoy doing, and that’s fine you don’t need everything or to like everything a game has to offer. I’m sure there’s a great many things you’ve done that others will never touch or care about too.
I don’t think that’s the reason.
There are collectibles that come from content X.
To get said collectibles you need to do content X.
That’s how things work. Certain things are to show you did thing X at lvl y.
When I see a PvP mount I know that guy does PvP when I see a m+ mount I know that guy does m+.
People like stuff like that they like to fly the colours of there craft if you will
Why is it fine to say “not everyone should have fun getting everything” but saying “everyone should have fun getting everything” is not fine?

Because not everything will appeal to everyone. Like I said should I be asking for alternate ways to earn things you have just because they come from doing something I don’t want to do?
It is content i am not enjoying so i skip

Because somethings are just fundamentally designed as a PvP Mode and turning them into PvE always has to come with a drawback in lowered gains, something you can clearly see in the Comp Stomp Brawl, a litteral Battleground that has NPC’s fighting you.
These things last like 5 Minutes before your Team absolutly goes 1500/0 against these Bots and as a result of that they litteraly have to lower the Honor Gains otherwise it’s is just the objectively better and faster way of earning rewards.
It’s the same with people asking for KSM/AotC mounts to be available AFTER the season ended, if that would be a thing, noone would engage with the Season anymore and just wait till it’s over to get a free hand out.
I skipped the first iteration of this game mode, I play the second in a PvE mode. If I meet another player, I die. When I’m done with the daily, I run into the storm. Then I buy what I want from the store. I only tried it out because I heard of the increased rewards and the store instead of the renown setup. I think this game mode is bearable but it is not enjoyable for those who do not like PvP.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Plunderstorm rewards are PvP rewards. Treat them as Gladiator sets you get for Marks of Honor.
Besides, with the rapid respawn times of mobs, you can basically play a PvE mode anyway. You can treat players as NPCs you didn’t manage to kill
Plunderstorm already has a PvE mode
It was requested last time as well. I just don’t think we will get it. So you just have to gather plunder as best you can if you want the rewards.
I just did the objective over and over. Never tried to win.
Ye, that game exists. It’s called world of warcraft.
This is a psychological you issue. Maybe start there.
