Add Long Arm of the Law Rune for Paladin

Come next phases please.
DON’T add Divine Steed it has such a modern feel to it that just doesn’t sit right with classic paladin.

If I want to play with Divine Steed I play retail paladin

Long Arm of the Law : * A successful Judgment increases your movement speed by 45% for 3 sec.
It would be so much fun with the datamined :

  • [Enlightened Judgements]

Increases the range on your Judgement by 30 yards and your spell hit with all spells by 17%.*

Let’s look at vanilla paladins’ problems:

  1. Easy to kite, no slows, no gap closers
  2. No melee burst. Basically an auto attack bot with an occasional seal proc and relatively long cd judgment. Don’t even try to bring up reckoning, it’s too situational
  3. No way to interrupt spells

Now let’s look at these problems from a SOD Paladin standpoint

  1. Avenger shield. Basically a 30 yard hamstring which affects multiple targets and does respectable damage. No other class has this kind of a ranged slow. None.
  2. Insane melee burst. CS, DS on top of seal procs and judgments, and if that’s not enough you’ve also got exorcism for even more burst. Right now a typical paladin playstyle is run in, hoj and press 1-2-3. By the time hoj ends you’ve already taken at least half of your target’s HP.
  3. Rebuke.

To make things even more stupid, a paladin now is a walking tremor totem basically. But unlike a tremor totem, it doesn’t have 5 hp and has 3 lives through bubble and LoH.

Long story short, unlike ANY OTHER class, a paladin has ALREADY recieved an answer to EVERY SINGLE weakness they used to have. No other class has that.

And with all of the above in mind you still have the nerve to ask for more?

Are on the same rune slot.

There is no reason why there shouldn’t be Long Arms of the Law also on this rune slot.

Not to mention the tremor totem you talk about ALSO is on that exact rune slot.

So the paladin has:
Shieldthrow OR Kick OR Tremor Totem OR Exorcism against Players.
It is “OR” not “AND”.

You’re list in comparison is like he got all of that at the same time which is absolutely not correct.

My point is that you have an answer to every problem, should you choose it. No other class has that.
It is as if they’d give warlocks insane control and mobility of a rogue or a mage.
Or given warriors blessing of freedom.
Or shadow priests the ability to use healing spells in shadowform.
Or removed a hunter’s deadzone and give them an interrupt and mortal strike shot or something.

You see where i’m getting? You have all the tools right there. Other classes do not.

Every other class has some kind of a trade off. Answer this: what’s your trade off for all that you’ve got, huh?

I wouldn’t mind no mobillity as of right now.
But depending on where they wanna go (give all classes that miss it , options for mobillity)
I would rather have Long Arm of the Law than Divine Steed and the reason why I am so vocal about it is because they are forcing paladin to use the Steed in retail for over 7 years despite clear demands for an alternative to it , they just kinda swept it under the rug that ret had such good mobillity before Legion and act like Divine Steed has always been the favored form of paladin mobillity.

It is not enough, it will never be enough. Because you see, they can’t have everything on at the same time. Other classes have… oh wait.

There was a thread of a genius Paladin that saw the Shaman Maelstrom Weapon rune and thought that their Art of War rune should work for instant heals as well, except he still wants it to work on a single crit, leave the stacking to 5 to Shaman clowns.

People who play Paladins are just on another level, simpletons that play other classes just do not understand the game at all, only Paladins know what is balanced…

Doesn’t matter that mobility is their only weakness left, we can’t have paladin have a vulnerability can we?

Weak deflection, but after all not much else can be expected from someone that plays SoD paladin and still can’t manage.

Keep asking for more absurd OP c**p, I guess, you, specifically, need it.

I wouldn’t say they have any mobility issues. They can (will be able to) to dispel pretty much every existing slow effect because it’s considered either magic or poison, and those they can’t (hamstring or wingclip) they can BoF out of anyway.
