These sets are holding up very well with the age, absolutely stunning work.
Today, high m+ does not grant any permanent reward. Timing everything +20 or above is cool orange score and 8h cd dungeon portal, but nothing permanent and meaningful. These sets would be perfect rewards for doing high keys. Introducing recolors, every expension could have one recolor towards which dungeon enjoyers can work.
Not sure why this was not done yet tbf. M+ currently holds absolute lackluster rewards (or rather none at all), although MoP CM sets are a perfect base for this. Why blizz chose to give nothing instead of something?
This is not at all what he is asking for, he is asking for is a proper reward for pushing high keys.
And I’m all for it, but if they are going to add them in retail it won’t be the mop ones since I doubt blizzard would make new sets.
For DH’s and Evo’s and intentionally make them low res It’s just really unlikely as much as I want a way to get the mop sets since they are too good to remain unavailable.
If the source is retail content, it will most likely need to be brand new class sets. It would be nice to have just sets themed after the class and the class only, since raid tiers are severely lacking in class flavor.
that is an option problem with the CM sets is that they are extremely class flavored, so a DH or Evo in the lets say rogue or shaman set would look really weird while t3 could easily be mixed
T3 druid set looks weird on DH yet they can bust it np. Don’t see the issue. If they don’t like the look, they don’t mog it.
T3 warr set is heavy DK tone, yet pallies can bust it. Anyone cares? No.
Besided, DHs have a legion order hall set as well I assume. Since order hall sets are ripped off versions of the MoP CM sets, I guess it is not a large stretch to up that DH order hall set a bit accordingly (to be a fitting CM set). Evoker is rip tho ye. I guess just lift the class restriction.
Oh yeah, that is true I personally would not care since I don’t play those classes but at the same time if I were playing a class who did not get a proper set I would feel a bit left out even if the restrictions were lifted but i think they would get over it
I mean the difference between T3 and CM though is that T3 floated around for a while even post Vanilla due to raid being revamped in Wrath, so that set is just as inflated if not more inflated than a challenge mode dungeon reward. Its like comparing apples to oranges, the cm mogs shouldnt of even come back in a recolour if you ask me, but sure ig they had to resell legion with nostalgia of some flavour.
