Add-on Button is Missing

Perhaps I am missing something, but after attempting to install add-ons, when opening the menu in-game the entire Add-on button is gone. Did I do something wrong or is this happening to others?

Mine does show up fine.
I know lots of players have trouble installing addons using an app or client after the update. But installing them manually seems to work.
We got seperate clients for “vanilla” classic and tbc classic now so make sure you’re placing them in the folder for the right client.
classic for tbc
classic_era for vanilla
So for tbc the location should be: \World of Warcraft_classic_\Interface\AddOns

Also you can’t have too many subfolders inside the addon folder or the game wont detect them.

I think this is where my problem is. I have classic and classic_era and I assumed it was classic_era because that one wasn’t there before. Maybe I need to switch back to the other one.

The classic folder is TBC and the classic era folder is classic forever.

Don’t forget to added nested folders Interface and AddOns, not sure if the capital O is needed but it’s there on mine.

Also some addons are in a compressed file so you need to unpack them, some also have an extra folder in that packed file.

I play on a MacBook so the file names are different. I figured it out after all so it’s all good.

Thanks all!
