So, I recently came back to WoW not too long ago and at the start I realised my addon button wasn’t showing up at the start it didn’t matter because I was just gearing up but now that I want to get back into raiding I need my addons, ive checked old posts on it and anything ive read hasn’t helped, I use the twitch app for addons, although it is connected to a different account, the addons are all still in my wow folder, any help would be much appreciated 
With patch 8.1.5 wow folder structure change to allow to have multiple clients use one data folder. That way when you install beta or ptr you don’t need the whole copy of data folder to play it. It’s all in one place.
So if your addons are in World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\ folder then you need to move them to World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\
They should show up.
Thanks for your reply, but I have checked and they are in that folder, I have absolutely not idea whats going on.
Try.
COPY the AddOns folder at World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\ to your desktop.
DELETE the AddOns folder from the Wow directory you just copied.
COPY the AddOns folder from your desktop back to the Wow directory.
Still didn’t work, I literally have no idea what else to do, am I going to have to reinstall?
You’re either doing something very strange that you’re failing to mention or you have a permissions problem with your file system.
If you do re-install, install the game the C:\Users\Public not C:\Program Files.
