It was datamined for Ulduar patch, everyone made assumption it will be released with ulduar. It is already one week passed, most people assumed it is gonna be added this wednesday. But still nothing. Wtf? I seriously need it, dont wait untill damn wotlk is already over, i want to play new race right now.

They stated about a month ago in an interview that faction change will release first as it is easier to implement. I wouldn’t get your hopes up about race change coming out anytime soon when we don’t have faction change yet
Do you truly belive, that they can’t implement race/faction change due to technical/code issues? Thouse services are supported by the game database for over a decade.
Blizzard are simply giving Wrath extended editions last chance to sell off, while character boosts are still in demand due to first weeks of Ulduar mini hype. When they would see, that selling of boosts dies off, and number of raiders is nearing it’s peak they would try to monetise FOTM players desire of becoming Orcs/Trolls in PvE.
Sadly Blizzard’s new arena rating rules killed general interest in PvP and we see less human rerollers and falling down interest in playing Alliance. Especially since Nigh Elven racial working differently, probably due to removal of spell batching.
With all that in mind I hope Blizzard understand the destructive effect faction change would bring on the Alliance population and realms. Sure monofaction realms are guarantee, that any FOMO troll/orc rerollers would also pay for transfer to Horde monofaction realm and that is a double profit for Blizzard. With that in mind I hope they would start only with race change and monitor the process in Horde first.
I do not expect Blizzard to balance out factions by giving each one access to opponent races racials, however it seems like a perfect solution before introducing faction changes to prevent the situation we have in retail today.

We need faction change, not race change. Give it please.
Yeah considering name change was bugged for 3 months after it was implemented and would show your old name for others in certain UI but new name in other UI. It took one of my characters 2 weeks to show the real name. Something as simple as name change.
There are obviously very big differences in the game framework to retail. Conspiracy to make money is laughable when people quit left and right instead of making new character. Faction balance stopped being relevant years ago

For you, probably playing on monofaction Megarealm. But I am playing on an 38A:62H realm and uncontrollable Faction change is the next step to throw Alliance into state of permanent loosing of players due to PvE meta.
Dont bring in either they truly fooked the servers intially allowing transfers, no paid service should be in the game period imo. You want a troll to gain the haste buff you level one simples.
Give us Faction Change ASAP!
