Remember wotlk classic blizzard added new difficulty modes to heroic dungeons and it made bosses drop raid loot.
Would be perfect solution to help gear new players and alts in SoD.
Heroics in classic world is an interesting idea, to rediscover old dungeons when you can’t just ignore most of the mechanic. But i dont think that it can be used to gear up fresh alts, because people will demand high gear as it was with karazhan. It can be solved with Random dungeon finder, but i think RDF is too much for sod.
Wdym u already got coin runs, which are huge catch up with t1 and t2 sets u can buy. What u want kinda makes mc/bwl/zg and ony useless.
doing tons of raids and not getting / winning loot is even more useless. atleast add weapons to coin shop then
Well u can say that on everything + u even got more options of getting a better weapon now than before since Karazhan is out and the weapons there are better than bwl/mc/ony/zg so 
Anymore catch up mechanics and raids will die. Getting 4/8 T2 and 8/8 T1 gets you to MC/ZG fairly easily. Once you get a decent weapon (depending on you class) you can start KZ/BWL and quickly fill the holes.
I’m leveling quite a few alts and even though I wish I could gear them up to Naxx in a week, I reckon it’s better to have to get into a couple Raid IDs.
I see manyMC/BWL with geared players so the competition on T2 pieces and weapons (except best weap or legendaries) is small. Easy to get good gear - maybe not BiS - but good enough to unlock the next PvE level.

But if u have the weapon worse then bwl/mc/ony/zg, you won’t get to the karazhan group (unless u have someone to carry you)
