Adding a char to a guild when I'm the only one

Once upon a time 5 people in my family played WoW. We started a guild, and we were the only ones in that guild. The other 4 eventually quit, and now I’m the only one left. If I decide to start a new character, is there any way I can add that character to my guild by myself?

You can send guild request via guild finder if you list your guild.

LIke list your guild in guild finder from your main/officer rank and apply with your alt.

Did not tried it i think it works like that.

I would have never thought of that! I’ll try it and let you know if it works.

It doesn’t. Or didn’t, last I looked.

It’s a problem for any officer in any guild. People apply in the Finder, but you can’t invite tnem if they’re not online when you look.

You’re on Shadowsong? If you want, I’ll make a level 1 there. You can invite me and give me rank to invite, then I will invite your alt and delete the character. I’ve done that before.

If you need a hand, I can make a character to help you get an alt in.

I know the feeling of having my own guilds to place alts in.

Hm, are you sure? It has happened to me whenever I successfully applied to a guild that I got a prompt in the Guild Finder that I was invited to join the guild when I next logged on. If I accepted the invite I would get in just fine.

Just tested this and it worked. Your gm has to put your guild up, then your alt can look it up and do a request and your gm char can do the invite.
Thank you so much guys, i never knew lol, saves so much hassle!

Holystyle’s suggestion does indeed work. Have done this several times, quite recently even.

Thank you so much for the offers to make a char and the people who tested this! You’re awesome! I don’t have a char that I want to make at the moment, but I do have one char who is not in a guild that I could have tested this on. But I am an old lady who does not know how to list her guild in guild finder! I tried, but all I could list was a “community”, which I did and my other char was able to join it. But I deleted it because I don’t want a community. How do I list a guild in guild finder?

Hit G to open your guild window (unless you’ve rebound the key). Click Recruitment. Tick the “List My Guild in Guild Finder” box. Fill out the fields as you please. Click accept.

Log on to your other character. Open guild finder with G. Find your guild. Apply for it. Relog your character that’s in the guild and accept the request.
