as ive stated id happil farm sidereal essence for the flare. used to be a garanteed drop at least 1 per month. phase 3 hits and we’ve not seen it since its as if blizzard has completely nerfed the drop rate. somethings broken. scales the same. guildy still waiting on it religiously goes 25 man and 10 man every week. its just getting stupid now. i dont mind RNG its a part of the game but for somethign that was quite prolific and then boom its as if its vanished something definately isnt right
were not demanding but tbh. after 5 months and still no flare i’ll be honest it getting a fair bit boring now. the weekly disappointment is just stupid. we’ve had 2 HC reigns since p3 release and still yet to have 1 flare since p3 released. i mean heck i could argue the drop rate should have been buffed.
You can increase drop rate without increasing actual drop rate and opening the “can of worms” of people demanding drop rate changes for other items by simply eliminating non 252 ilvl gear drops on 25HM Ulduar boss kills.
Yeah so i joined a random 4/5 pug on trade because i missed this reset due to holidays. And got normal Reign of all things. Still have never seen flare and exactly one scale on week 2 of Ulduar and I run every reset 25 and now also 10 man. Still need a second slot trinket to replace the eye, so I guess more Ulduar for me 
Edit: oh and ofc Scale dropped in my usual raid on the week I missed, an alt shaman got it for ele offspec.
