Addon for managing (cloning) multispec action bar contents?

Is there an addon that helps with keeping action bar contents synchronized between specs or even chars?
I got a Horde and an Alliance druid, each with four specs, and it is a pain to try and keep my action bar contents synched across all that so that I have the familiar setup all the time.
I did it once and had to write down each one and then change spec and clone, all manual. But by now I have optimized more, added macros, shifted stuff around. It is frustrating.

Strange, my action bars are personal for each spec i’m doing, even additional bars above main one. When i change spec all spells are shifted to where i put them before in that concrete spec, so if i put smite in holy spec on button 2 and put smite on button 4 in disc spec, when i shift between specs smite stays at 2 and 4.

Are you sure that didn’t just happen the first time? I did notice that when an alternate spec hasn’t been configured yet, the game clones the stuff once you activate it for the first time. At least the main bar. But this is of little help.

game clones it, yes, but if you set it up, then every time you change spec it will be where you put it. If you want the same settings for the same classes you can go to your WTF folder and for example if you have Druid named A, and druid named B, and you want setup of druid A on your Druid B, you can try to delete Druid B folder, copy Druid A folder and rename it to Druid B, i’m not sure if it will help, but sounds logical. Druid B should inherit all variables from Druid A.

The addon you are looking for is called ActionBarProfiles.

It can save macros/keybindings/button placement, even talents if you want.

I checked it out, but it is too basic. It might be of use for some specific cases like quick switching, 1:1 transfer, backup, but I would need a more detailed tool, with definitions of which elements are saved and which not, to take slight differences into account.
For example, if I just copied the layout from my Horde druid and applied it to my Alliance druid, stuff that is specific to the Alliance version would get overwritten and then I don’t know what exactly I need to restore. Basically leading to the problem to begin with.
