Hello there, I’m looking for an addon that will help me do missions with as little headache as possible, much like with the ones for the previous three expansions.
Do you have any recommendations?
VenturePlan or Covenant Mission Helper.
VenturePlan is not maintained anymore, and will need a minor adjustment to function properly, but after that, it works remarkably well.
Personally, I use VP, and have been very satisfied with it for a long, long time now.

no addon exits for 1 click. u have to play fa*ebook minigame and like it

Yeah I’ve already looked at both, unfortunately neither was updated for 9.1.5 yet so I don’t know if they work.
I use VenturePlan for any older mission and Covenant Mission Helper for new missions and new followers, it is not as accurate as VenturePlan, but it gets the job done fairly well. Venture plan is also great to autocomplete all finished missions.
I just don’t understand why we needed this weird autochess thing, the previous model was fine.

VenturePlan works well enough (for me, anyway)… whether it matches your expectations is something only you can evaluate.
The issue I’ve found is that I used addon’s from the same author, for WoD, Legion & BfA, but the Shadowlands code is from a different author & could be leading to problems (for me).

I just think it’s more complex for no good reason.
They do work, I use them every day on multiple characters. Make sure you’ve got ‘Extra Missions for Venture Plan’ plugin. I cannot recall the last mission I failed.
I use both venture plan and covenant mission helper. I had to go in and adjust something in venture plan when we got more followers, but it works for now even though it isnt maintained.
The extra thing you need for Venture Plan is called “VenturePlanSoDMissions”
you can find that and the adjustment needed for more than 20 followers on GitHub.
Venture Plan still has a few issues with the newer high lvl missions. I usually check how much life they have left after ended mission, and judge if I think it worth the risk. Now that more of my followers are getting to lvl 60, it seems to be more reliable again though. (Venture Plan sometimes overestimates their abilities to beat the enemy! Close calls more often than not tend to fail for some of these new missions.)

Covenant Mission Helper still seems to work fine for me.
I use Mission Covenant Helper, you have to pick your own teams but it will give you an indication of how successful the mission is likely to be and will re-order the combination you’ve put in to be more effective.
I personally didn’t get on with Venture Plan, and it’s no longer maintained by the original creator/writer.
Without CMH I wouldn’t be able to do any missions. I’ve gone from the second worst Covenant (Venthyr) to the worst (Kyrian). Thanks to CMH I got all my missions done on Venth and levelled all my companions to 60.
Very few addons break with minor game versions. Though VP has ceased development, CMH may simply not have been updated because it doesn’t need an update. Install them; there isn’t a worst case that is worse than not trying 
I use both. VP doesn’t understand the 9.1 followers/missions and gives a big orange ! next to mechanics it isn’t accounting for. Do these at your own risk. CMH does a better job, but you have to assemble a team before optimising, as it won’t pick troops for you.
On the whole, if both addons agree that the mission will succeed, it will probably succeed.
Yeah. This is what I found now too.
Started using the CMH at the side of VP (with adjustments and the added missions). Don’t feel like dropping VP as I like how it moves my added adventurers around and fills up with troops just by clicking that small button. Using CMH as a control works well.
Its text is too small for me to read properly. Maybe there’s a setting for it, but I haven’t looked for it as VP will remain my main UI as long as it can.
