Addon for quests

Hello everyone. Happy new year first of all.

I am currently playing through Wrath, we have the quest helper that’s included in the game, is there a way to see quest givers in the map?
Is there any good quest addon that’s good but light than questie? Someone mentioned one called RestedXp but i don’t know if it is any good because apparently we have to play for it?

Please if you have any good suggestions let me know.

Side note, for a character that starts at level 1 how long can it take to get to level 80 with the Joyous Journeys buff on?

Yea it will show ! for questgivers 1/2/3 for the area to farm and ? for the location of the completed quest. So you do not need questie or anything else.

It takes about 40h playtime to get to 80.

It doesn’t show the quest givers in the world map.

WOTLK is not retail (yet) so it doesn’t show ! on the minimap unless you are really close to the quest giver.
Questie does show all the !s on the minimap. Or just go exploring the world and find new quests.

I, too, would suggest Questie. It shows Quests and questgivers (and drop quests) on the worldmap as well as in the zone map. I prefer it over the implement questhelper wow provides.

What I would love is an excerpt of Questie, used to be an add-on: EveryQuest.
List all the quests per zone, and if I want, I can check it on the web.

My problem with Questie is that it’s quite bloated, so I’m in the same boat as OP!

Kisdan, one more thing - you can activate low level quests as tracking. Unlike in earlier editions, you can track several things. So while it doesn’t show on the big map - Questie does that and it can get funny with nearly a thousand - it does show them on the minimap.

Combining the two is most usually sufficient.

(Questie does have a tab like that. So it might be possible to reduce the add-on.)
