I tried Quest Completist and then Wholly with Grail, but despite claims to the contrary, neither one put markers on the world map for quests that evidently are not done yet. Like in Revendreth there are a couple quests in a town that appear with exclamation marks on my minimap, but I only knew they were there from memory. The addons would not have given me any hint. But that is exactly what I want: See not just Blizzard’s story quest chain pickup icons but also ones for those minor quests that normally do not appear there.
This is a bit frustrating because there are, after all, achievements for completing those minor story lines in Shadowlands.
With Wholly I also ran the grail command in chat and that did something, but not help.
And Quest Completionist seems outdated and no longer maintained. It said on launch that the server didn’t send something so it did a manual request and stated figures of quests completed vs. incomplete.
