A lot of addons place additional buttons around the minimap. I wonder if there was one that allowed to create one’s own button, like a macro. For example I would like to make a “/cursortrail” macro and put it around my map alongside my others addons. Does such a thing exist?

I don’t know if one exists for the minimap. But it does sound like a good idea, action bars should be for actions, not utility macro’s like your’s, it takes up space. So I think if there is not one already, there should be! Sadly I’m not experienced enough with LUA to do one
