Hey all, I’ve always had an issue seeing the mouse pointer since I was a teenager oh so many years ago now, is there an addon that can make the mouse pointer a little more obvious on the screen as to where it is on the screen?, maybe an addon that makes it glow or has a circle or something around it?
I don’t know of any addon myself but just incase it helps and you didn’t know, you can increase the cursor size in game settings > Accessibilty > General.
There are weak aura’s for it, but they feel to me all have a small delay on my real mouse movement.
You can add effects with Weak Auras

Or curseforge has some options too

As someone with poor vision myself I can recommend some AddOns that help me.
Storyline displays NPC dialogue and Quests with larger fonts, light on dark which is easier to read. But it also gives all dislogue options numbers and you can press the number to select that dialogue rather than having to use the mouse to click it. Press Space will choose the top dialogue option also.
This can really reduce how often you need to use the mouse. Use F (interact key) then number keys to do dialogue or pick up and hand in quests.
GTFO tells me when I’m standing in the bad. (the game should really have this built in, standing in a camp fire makes you yelp despite you taking 0 damage but standing in a dark purple swirl (on a dark grey floor) gives you only one indication when you fall over dead).
TomTom for coords so finding cave entrances is easier.
ThreatPlates puts bigger brighter health bars over mobs making them easier to spot.
Edit to add: They did add an in game setting to change the mouse pointer size recently (this expac). So mine is quite big now.
Thank you, I will take a look at this when I log in later on :D!
I’ve been struggling to see the pointer since vanilla every time you click it disappears or it get lost in the multiple colors and spells.
Blizzards accessibility options are still sub-par compared to other MMO’s and videogames when it comes to UI customisation via easy to access menu.
The only thing it does is UI scaling which is basic (It really needs work here developers, not being mean but it just does. I mean, log onto another MMO/game and see their accessibility options if you need help. Like ESO or something since it’s all under the same parent company now)
Wow has pretty much stuck to color blindness here and not other sorts of visual impairment. Though hoping upper Microsoft management will go. “You need to do this now.”
But for this, look up the addon ‘CursorMod’ on Curseforge, which’ll enlarge mouse pointer for you, change colour, add a trail if needed, etc.
Good suggestions above. You can also contact Blizzard’s accessibility team if you want them to look into more specific help than having to use add-ons - https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/244753
I don’t disagree in the slightest. Just thought i’d mention the option for cursor size was there as i didn’t even know it existed until a few days back myself.
They have added some Accessibility features recently. As well as the Mouse Pointer size you can have Quests displayed with Dark background (many, myself included, find this easier to read).
I hope they continue to improve the game with this regard. Considering the age of the game and its antiguated engine I think they’re doing ok recently.
voice over or prompt addons
pretty sure you can increase the mouse pointer size with in-game options
Once I have access to my PC I will look up the mouse cursor WA I use and link it here.

This is the one I use. The WA itself is pretty old but it still works, and places a circle around your cursor that follows it. You can edit the color of it to your liking.
