[Addon] WPvP stats + KoS lists + Sharing

I'm not affiliated with author of this addon in any way. Few weeks ago I finally got tired of fixing previous KoS list addon I was using. Found this addon and - so far I like it a lot. Plus, with somewhat recent discussions of stats/rating/etc for WPvP - this addon is as good as any addon for this can be, and it also can improve sharing relevant information for guilds.

Vanas KoS is a Kill-on-Sight notifier, that uses every possibility, to detect nearby KoS targets, and notifies the user in different ways. Additionally it records PvP-Stats in outdoor PvP and shows these in the tooltip (configurable).

With right configuration it provides quite accurate WPvP stats - who, when, where…

Gray peace icons - areas where only kills happened, or number of kills is more than number of deaths in that area.
Skull and Bones icons - areas where only deaths happened, or number of deaths is more than number of kills in that area.
Crossed swords - areas where equal numbers of kills and deaths happened.

Each icon/marker covers about 40-100 yd area.
Works on all maps - old and new. Don’t know if it’s going to work with non-standard map.

Most important - disable everything for Battlegrounds and Arenas, so you have relevant information for WPvP only. You already have overall kill counter in-game and BG/Arena end of the match stats - there is no need to duplicate them and bloat WPvP stats with irrelevant info.

For Defeats logging method select “All Attackers” - you want to know all who was there when you died… hehe

Enable “Store Permanently” - without it some stats won’t be accurate (guilds/classes).

Addon doesn’t store information immediately - most of the stats saved when logging off, so to get relevant recent info sometimes reload is needed. Also if you’re someone who likes to Alt+F4 or just have Internet connection problems - be ready that not everything will be saved or even corrupted - don’t do alt+f4.

Alts :
Addon stores everything from all of your characters. So everyone with many alts will have all relevant info from all of them no matter what alt you play on.

KoS lists are pretty straightforward :
Personal and guild, plus lists for your faction relations. Add with right click menu or type-in directly.

Can be very interesting for guilds to keep up everybody with relevant info about guild relations and KoS targets.

For me, in about 3-4 weeks of using it - with this addon I somehow a lot less mindlessly jump in unwinnable situations, probably a good thing, hehe, and so many of detailed stats are very nice.

Hope it’ll make at least something about your WPvP a bit more fun or informative for you too.

allys are KoS by default, and minimap radar tells me who it is.
maybe addon is for lesser classes without tracking… maybe?

For enemy tracking I also use different addon. I like this one not because of KoS/tracking itself, but because of stats it can gather and filter, event map, friendly players detection (my camera is zoomed out far, friendly names are way to small to read on a run), different lists for both friends/nice and kos + sharing options.

The only thing it’s not good at is - tracking enemies… well, there is no addon that can do everything and to the same extent. For example, Spy is VERY good for tracking enemies and KoS, but it doesn’t have good stats-gathering / filters / friendlies / sanctuaries. So you ether pick one that has what you want, or use additional for tracking / stats / whatever (if you need it) and have all of it.
