I have two accounts under one battle.net ID. My addons work perfectly fine on one, but I’m spammed with errors for the exact same addons on the other account. They are all up to date, and none were updated recently. I even opened both and made sure I had all the exact same addons enabled in case there were some clashes I was unaware of.
I don’t see how this can be a problem with the addons, since they work just fine on one account. It must be something in my game. So far I’ve tried deleting the cache but not WTF/Interface, since I’d really, really like to avoid having to set up all my addons on my 40-ish toons again.
Customer support don’t support addons, nor does Technical Support. There is actually a specific forum for support with addons.
I wasn’t sure if this would count as an addon problem, since there’s nothing wrong with the addons themselves. As they do work perfectly on the other account. I can try posting there, though, thanks.
Delete the Cache, WTF and Interface folders on the account that doesn’t work and copy them from the account that does work.

From what I can tell, those folders are in the retail folder. They’re not separated by my two accounts. The only folders I can find that are labelled with my account names are in the WTF folder.
World of Warcraft > retail > WTF > Account > accountname
In those folders there are more folders with all the servers I play on, and then one called SavedVariables that has LUA and BAK files for all my addons…even addons I haven’t used in years. Would it be safe to replace that?
Actually you are right. You need to do that. It’s probably corrupted variable files.
I was thinking about different battle.net accounts.
If you move them rather than delete them, if you have problems or it doesn’t solve the problem you can delete the copied ones and move them back.
You can delete the cache folder with no problems.
I copied the SavedVariables folder from my other account and it worked! I do have to set some stuff up again, but since it has all the settings from my other account I can just copy those profiles.
