Addons in arena is boring

Spending time to setup the UI to not have major disadvantage is boring.
Tracking every CD also feels like cheating. This never happens in real games like dota2.

I know it’s not going to change just saying it makes pvp more boring for many people.

Im not a pvp player, but thats a very unfair comparison you got.

Dota is a pvp game, where every champion got like what 5 abilities.

Wow is a pve focused rpg game, with pvp as a side activity, where every class has like 10+ abilities.

Which is why i never understood why people care for PvP in WoW instead of playing an actual PvP game.

You need 3 addons, gladdy (which has several profiles implemented so you dont have to set up anygthing), omnibar (which is also already ready to use once you download it) to track cds and big debuffs, those 3 addons will bring you far in rated PvP without spending more than 20minutes to set them up.
The higher you get, the more interesting weakauras become, but you do just fine without them unless you wanna go for glad or rank1.

WoW is a PvE focused mmorpg with 3-4times as many abilities per class than league/dota, ofc you need something to track those.

Because those are different kind of games? I dont care if mobas have objectively better PvP if I dont like the game genre. Thats like going to a league player and tell him to just play csgo because its more balanced.

Yes but addons makes the game boring.
It’s like everyone using wallhack in counter strike.
