Addons Missing

Hi there, any help will be appreciated. A couple of weeks ago i downloaded the PTR to have a look at the new specs etc and ever since then i have been unable to use my UI and Recount.

I use Elvui and have removed it and re-downloaded latest versions etc.

But when i am at the character selection screen, the addon button no longer shown in the bottom left and when i am in the game the game menu also nolonger shows, the option.

I looked on Utube and searched for a solutions but to no luck, i have just this week landed Beta and would really like to play it with my regular setup.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Addons are not automatically synced between the different clients (normal, ptr, beta). You need to manually install them to each. Be aware that many of the addons for 8.3 (BFA) won’t work properly in PTR or beta.

The addons for each version are located in different folders, for example if your WoW is installed to C:\Games\WoW then the normal (retail) addons are C:\Games\WoW\_retail_\Interface\Addons and PTR version addons are under C:\Games\WoW\_ptr_\Interface\Addons and so on.
