AddOns questions & Login screen

I’ve noticed that if I have zero addons enabled my char would login in 3 seconds.

If I have my addons that I love enabled, my char will be on log in screen for 15 to 20 seconds, sometimes 30 seconds, which is annoying especially for re-log on few alts to swap stuff or kill a rare etc.

Now I know that addons do interfere with login time because they are starting up, ofcourse, but what I’m trying to ask, is there a way to determine which addon exactly is causing the biggest issue in logging in? in other words I want to disable the addon that is causing the most delay for the login screen, how do I do that

On your character selection screen. Look down at the bottom left, then press the AddOns button. There you can check or uncheck every specific AddOn.

There is no easy way of seeing which add on is causing the problem as far as I know. Basically you would need to disable all the add-ons and then reload them one at a time, so load one log in see if there is a problem, if not log out and enable another - keep going until you find what is causing the delay

You can also hover over the ? ingame and see memory usage by addons

Usually the more space they take up the longer the game takes to load.

thanks all for the replays, this is exactly what I’m gonna do as suggested, ill load addons one by one until I figure out which is causing this huge loading screen delay.
