Hey, I reinstalled the game and after that I downloaded addons again, but they don’t “work” as if the game doesn’t recognize them. I don’t even see the addons panel ingame, or when choosing the character. What to do?
You probably installed them to World of Warcraft\Interface directory when the new directory is World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface after the 8.1 patch. It allows PTR installation to reuse assets from retail version to save space.
Make sure your Twitch or other addon client is pointing to the correct directory, too.

I don’t think this is the case here, I installed them to World of Warcraft/retail/Interface/Addons. The addons worked just fine before I deleted and installed it today
Maybe a dumb question, but did you try to enable addons on character creating screen?
I would, but I can’t even see the Addons button there =(
This is 100% folder issue check twice if you haven’t your addon folder inside addon folder if you know what i mean. Wow/Retail/Interface/Addons/Addons make sure you haven’t it like that.
I would think that too. The route is Blizzard/WoW/Retail/Addons so I’m a bit clueless what to do
Folder with Addons should be in INTERFACE folder. WoW/Retail/Interface/Addons that is correct route.
