Could you guys check if you didn’t accidentally delete this quest from your database?
Been checking for past weeks and never saw it. Looking at the wowhead comments I am not alone in this.

Same thing here, seen people’s posts that this world quest was appeared in November 2024 and since then - no more.
Other “rare” world quests for the achievement (Trolls, Frog, Hand) is already appeared twice since i started doing meta-achievement (Mid December 2024), but so far no sandfishing in 2025.
I even saw posts and speculations about that Blizzard is artificially lowering the chances to this World Quests appearing.
I suggests everyone, who hunting for all sort of achievements is join “Achievements” discord (Free to google), there is feature, where you can add yourself a role with name of certain world quest, so, if this world quest is appears, people simply tagging the role in the announcement chat to let you know.

I think honestly these parts of the achievements as well as the rares should be looked at.
Waiting weeks for world quests to spawn is not fun.
Waiting 6+ hours for one rare spawn is not fun, even more so now with scaling and people just 1shotting it before you can even get to it, the nazjatar and mechagon achvs are so difficult right now.

Blizzard pls fix this.
Edit: Also, if this is some super rare WQ then that makes it even worse. Then one missed Vul’dun assault can mean you have to wait months for it again. I have work, if its up when i cant play then i will miss it.
Not very good gameplay if you ask me.

There is no ingame indication as “RARE world quest” either, which is make suspicions about artificial stalling of those meta-achievements.
I am reporting this world quests as a bug and encouraging everyone do the same. Even if its not a bug, its worth to drew attention to that and show that players do not like this type of stalling.

Are you guys kidding people in this blizzard? Is there anyone working who thinks, or do you give a damn about customers? World quest Sandfishing hasn’t appeared for over a month… Needed for meta achievement

Attention! Sandfishing world quest is currently active on EU!
Date: Feb 7 2025 (so future achievement hunters can pin-point approximately time between appearances, if there is any)
Wasnt up that date for me

Did you checked it on Horde character?
This world quest, as half of meta-achievements, is Horde only. So there is no Sandfishing for Alliance and alliance characters can’t see this worldquest on the map either.
Yes ofc. Loggin my horde alt every voldun assault to check if its up. Have it parked in voldun rn. 
Wait! I think we have misunderstanding going on, sorry, i got confused.
Sandfishing world-quest is not tied to Voldun Assault, it can appear any time in the middle of the desert
(Coordinates: 52 , 60)
During Assault there is Vulpera for a Day world quest, which is needed for the meta-achievement.
(Coordinates: 38 , 45)
I usually use wowhead’s World Quest Map to check up active world quests - its very useful. But for those rare world quests, i even joined “Achievement” discord, so people can ping others if one of those world-quests is active right now.
I just assumed this one was during the assault too like the vulpera for a day, never thought overwise. Ig i will be checking each day then now.
