I can’t lose everything else when I had nothing to begin with.
I’m not going to be renewing your forum celebrity license at this rate, Dudflex
In terms of the topic Blood Elf RP (as a community) suffers from being insular and really stuck pandering to an array of made up councils, convocations assemblies and so on
The typical belf roleplayer quickly becomes a piece of background information to their officer’s [sips wine politically] RP and (before it’s heavy decline in Legion/BfA) Silvermoon RP was always more Game of Thrones inspired than anything Stormwind could offer (though it smartly avoid the more overt giveaways - ie. avoiding references to houses and sers)
Transmog that helmet right now mister.
You think I need you to Renew my status, after all it was A PCU member who got me sent to the 3 month Blizzard bin in the first place, but it’s no matter, I’ve got a trick up my sleeve that will tear the reality of this forum in half. By the end of this, I’LL be the High executioner and you’ll be begging me for forum fame licenses.
I dunno, its 100% more undead than the other one.
Also, how else can he flex on all the Trolls without human/dead-human appropriation? Someone think of the memes!
Yes but he looks like a Forsaken version of Barney the Dinosaur. the hat was way better.
Quite true. To me it seems more prominent an issue on the Horde however, although perhaps that can be attributed to their fewer numbers.
Let us add this as another issue not limited to Blood Elf role play whilst we’re at it.
Hot take; Undead Barney already sounds 100% more metal and interesting than the default version.
Let’s be friends forever!
Forever.
Barney is a dinosaur from our eternal Damnation
And when he’s tall
He’s what we call a horrific sensation
Barney’s Terrors are big and small
They come from lots of places
After 1 o’clock they meet to play
And sing with scary faces
B-barney?!
Vietnam flashbacks
we just smoke a lot of weed ooc, that’s it
Transmog that helmet right now mister.
All in due time gamer …

Enough of your unlicensed posting … [grunts towards u]]]
Let us add this as another issue not limited to Blood Elf role play whilst we’re at it.
Almost every issue from race a can be applied at least in part to race b, c and so on so I think it’s pretty arbitrary to post this
When I mention it I mean it is (IMO) more prevalent for the blood elves - and sure it makes sense that way - while there are certainly types of for example orcish political RP you can do, blood elves as a race are more geared towards that theme
I think that theme is played out in a way that focuses on the fun of the guys at the top over the emote fight fodder at the bottom

As the faction with much better RP, the Horde’s smaller but far more ELITE playerbase has a right to be proud

This is not the last you’ve seen of me philip, I will have my revenge.
till they became puppets, They’re a bit weak now
At least they are not idiots, they think of what they do and to be honest they are good, as you said but the question is, why do you look at them as puppets? They want to RP and have fun, they are great to RP with since you have no clue of what they are up to than I have to say that “Weak” is far from their description.
We all know elves can be annoying to RP with if its the typical lvl 120 boosted arrogant type but the HBM is not one of those people, a shame you are trying to tell them that they are puppets and weak while, in fact, you are the one that hops in their events while they wouldn’t want you in it? Also, should I mention you bailed it?
The HBM are possibly one of not only the most welcoming and enjoyable communities I’ve had the pleasure of being part of, which includes PCU, but one of the most immersive and inclusive guilds for elves. Belf RP right now is the height of clique fashion with little wriggle room being made for people outwith the already established friendship groups.
The last thing HBM are, are puppets. We are individuals with creatively forged paths. We are encouraged to explore our character’s development with each event we attend or even make, our character history is equally explored upon joining via the Runestone channel. It’s a cohesive insight to the past of jovial, quiet and even the most tortured of souls and it gives us a chance IC to bond.
The last thing that I will withstand is some washed up GM with a less than stellar reputation, stale outlook and all around dull concept, crapping on them. Please go parade through Silvermoon again, we don’t want you here!
I think you make a lot of assumptions about guild direction when you aren’t involved in the planning process for that direction whatsoever.
HBM are some of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure to speak to on the server, and particularly as enemies in RP. They impressed me from the get go with their friendly nature and willingness to engage with strangers.

Absolutely destroyed
Back on thread topic:
Another problem with blood elf Roleplay is the Blood Elves who don’t want to be blood elves. It’s like, “then why be a blood Elf?” especially when they use the Blood elf DH model to be a “Succubus”.
So what we can gather from this, ladies and gentlemen of the jury:
Sun Hawks’ GM and HBM don’t like each other.
