Okay, Isilmé.

Kump, as sad as I’m to have to tell you this…

This meme is old, at least because someone posted it in the OG “What is wrong with Alliance RP?” thread and it was like the 4th post from the top.

I’ll never understand “calling people out” with their alt names…

I think the main problem is that people say that there are high elves or that they have no voidish crap in them. I keep it to what my eyes see, wanna be a high elf? Use the reflecting prisms. And should you RP as a Velf then please for the love of the light just quit. Most of them are edge lords like when the dh’s came.

I don’t see a problem with elves and such but as I have heard recently “Worgens are not dogs anymore” Maybe it will take time for the Velfs to evolve in normal beings?

It’s pretty cool&good when it’s someone obviously trying to hide their identity/trying to start :poop:

outside of that it’s extremely

Tbf that poster is probably most known on their dk.

I wouldn’t know, I’m woefully unfamiliar with this person or why there’s any reason to ‘call them out’. Seemed rlly random and strange.

It seems like a bizarre call out to be honest, like they didn’t even post anything offensive???

Sylmarien doesn’t really seem to be trying to conceal anything to begin with. Call-out culture can be real weird, dudes.

Call a spade a spade tbh, petty high school politics is 100% the bane of rp communities. If you genuinely have an issue with someone speak to them. Instead of having some childish jab as though you’re huddled in the year 9 form room gossiping about Jenny.

To be fair she’s, like, gawsh-awful. don’t tell her I said that tho

Oh I don’t mind. I never hide who I am and which characters I play.

My real “issue” with Void Elf RP is how difficult it is to find. Not to mention integrating into the general Alliance RP population. Sure, you can take that too IC and use it for extra spice in your RP but more often trying just proves more trouble than it’s worth.

Why won’t this cycle END

It’s your fault. You started this, now it has become self-aware!

I started this 3 days ago! Or was it 2… Regardless!

I didn’t expect it to live this long!

Dr, Frankenstein said the same thing, and look how it ended for him. You have created a monster. A MONSTER!

Young adventurer, you mustn’t linger here, seek forth the darkness and use thy sword to strike true the phylactery of the fiend whom knows not death. only then, can the realms know truest peace and prosper.

The human paladins / light roleplayers that tend to see them as annoying since christian views IRL and “I am a devout crusader ingame that burns witches. However no lore ever backed me up so I just make stuff up and if someone asks about it I behave like the church of the light guild leader”.

What was the question again?

Oh, right. Nothing is wrong with void elf roleplay and rather all the people that go “muh light”.

Sure you can have a distaste for them like for demon hunters, death knights and so forth. But wanting to kill them (they are your own allies) basically speaks against the word of the king who welcomed them thus making you a traitor (yes, even as a paladin) and a kill on sight.

Yes, I say this as a priest roleplayer because it’s so super annoying to see characters that have the traits of “muh light!!1” and that is where it ends.

I won’t pick and prod at void elves too much since they are a new race, but I think a lot of void elves treat their appearance as a mere aesthetic and that’s that. I’d say being a void elf takes a lot of work to perfect and such power is wasted if you roleplay a civilian.

I’m not trying to suggest void elves are like death knights and should always be at war, but surely their power should serve SOME purpose. If I roleplayed a void elf, I would be true to my background and roleplay something like a void mage or a riftblade.
