I think they should at least give half of their used material back,just like crafting items.Galvanic Oscillator is not a fast thing to farm and people wasted so much without knowing they need a lot of them for rank 3 of their essence.

I think it was a terrible idea to lock the trinkets and essences behind the daily Galvanic Oscillator grind…
You need so much of them and there’s no way to farm it, pretty bad idea imo. I wouldn’t mind spending hours farming spare parts for those rather than come back next month to get my essence rank 3 and then wait another week to get my random trinket which will most likely get scrapped.
So yeah, could be great to get the Galvanic Oscillator back from the scrapper, or have a way to farm them.
got from it 420 ring, compared it to my 2 440 rings, sighed and disenchanted 
Took the highest level of it, simmed far worse than my 400 ring, must’ve had a bad roll?
Wish they had made a seperate thing for rings and trinkets. Or a way to farm the reagents. One or other.

Yeah they should give some mats back imo, especially GOs.
1 Galvanic Oscilator a day unless you’re lucky with a chest or a rare is terrible.
I still haven’t been able to make a single 420 trinket or ring because I needed to save up for rank 3s and now I don’t need a 420 ring or trinket anymore.
I would understand if those essences would be super mega OP for everyone, that would be good reason to lock it behind time gate with GOs…
Exactly.There is no way to farm them and there is so little of them available daily
They kinda give you a mid normal - heroic raid loot / m+7 or 8 ( not sure about exact ilvl ).
Makes sense they cost 7 days of doing 1 ez quest.
But refunds for scraps, at least 2 GO, would be nice.
Why did you waste mats on 420 ring if u had 2x 440 rings?

Dunno if they just hotfixed it or if it has always been the case but i just obtained a Galvanic Oscillator from a chest in Mechagon

Always been a case, it just feels like they bumped the chance, quite a bit at that, since I got 4 just today… as opposed to 2 or maybe 3 from the weeks before
I got zero today.
But I really hope they change it so scrapping give half value of the original mats
