I have a serious Problem with a Quest called “Adventuring in the Dragon Isles” on my Hunter - In this Quest I need to choose a Dragonflight Zone on the Scouting Map for progressing the Main Story Lines wich award tremendous Amounts of Reputation (Quest is in Waking Shores) - But when I click the Scouting map I can’t Choose any Zones and therefore I cannot progress any Zones , so I loose out on so much reputation wich I need for the Crafting recpies. You know about this problem ? And is there a fix/workaround? Adding a Image on Imgur for showing the Problem.
I tried : Disabling all Addons , Resetted UI , Log off/in , Abandoned all other Quests, Turned WM on/off, Waited for Weekly/Server Reset
From Wowhead comments, I see a few people havd had the same problem, for example
Tried to do the campaign quest on my nth alt. I could do all pre-quests including taking the zeppelin to the new shores, I can click the map, but I cannot select any of the zones to quest in (no clickable areas within the map). I could use the map on others alts without an issue, but this hunter has done much of the later campaign stuff, just not the beginning of Dragonflight’s campaign. I will wait for server reset to see if it changes anything, but right now I cannot continue because I can’t finish the quest.
The good news is that you don’t need this quest. It’s intended to let your alts skip around the zones once your main has finished the MSQ, but it just provides pointers to start each of the zones.
You say this is on your Hunter, but you are posting on a level 70 Hunter. Same character? If so, I can see why it doesn’t make sense to give you a map, if you have already completed the zones?
I never bothered with it on any of my alts. I just fly down to Forkriver and pick up
which starts me on the Azure Span just as if I had picked it from the map.
you have done some significant number of quests in each zone on that Hunter already - 28 in the Waling Shores, 22 in Ohn’ahran Plains, 20 in The Azure Span, and 58 in Thaldraszus.
Assuming this is correct, this would explain why the initial breadcrumb quests are not there for you, and why the map isn’t pointing you to them - you have already passed them in your quest progress.
If so, the best I can suggest is that you try to find the first point in the chain that you haven’t yet done.
