Advise to start learning dungeons now

Just a tip, I noticed my favorite dungeons guide streamer, Quazzi wow (and no, I don’ t get pair for advertising him lol and I am sure many people know of his existence), started posting his dungeon guides. They are 30+ mins each, but really worth it, he goes into high detail.

I usually start with just the bosses. When the season starts I tend to practice them well one at a time until I get it right, but each their own, I just don’ t need to do all 10s in 1 week and scream there’ s nothing to do and why the next season hasn’ t started yet lol ! :stuck_out_tongue:

I found that learning the dungeons is the best part of the season.

Then things can still surprise you and the point of failure is actually just not knowing something, instead of just being greedy or lazy.

Like how I though that 3rd boss from Grim Batol was exciting and difficult, now you just drag it to the corner of the throne and faceroll it.

Agree but in pugs the amount of people who don’ t know the basics is crazy! :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s because there is nothing, NOTHING, up to and including entering timed keys or Heroic raids that teaches you that standing in fire is bad or that you have to interrupt an enemy’s ability or that you have to dispel that buff from the enemy or debuff from your friendly.

But we’re somehow elitists when we ask for the levelling part of the game and the overworld to include such mechanics while also providing concise feedback to the player on what they need to do to properly execute a mechanic they have failed.

Unfortunately learning new dungeons in HC, especially current HC while wearing end of season gear, is kind of futile. You don’t get the mythic-only mechanics that they’ll be adding in, and other mechanics will be so low damage that it will be hard to tell what will be a minor annoyance for the healers when you’re in the M+ version, and what will be a one shot mechanic that needs to be dealt with proactively.

Personally I’ll be keeping an eye on the Method M+ guides when they come out. They’re really good at breaking down the dungeons and discussing not just the boss fights, but also the individual trash packs and mobs within those trash packs.

I am not talking about 0s or +2s, but when you enter a +10 and still know nothing. Well, people got a reason not to want to proceed further.

When is a lower key, I usually explain things, but in a +10…no thank you!
