Better to remove tyrannical and fortified instead of teaming and skittish.

Definitely agree, but i do think that skittish had to go unless they give us legion aggro back.

I prefer BFA skittish over Legion one tbh.

Well,During Legion skittish was âfakeâ low threat. Basically aggro was normal and then game decide to randomly drops aggro from random mob.
BFA skittish on the other hand is flat threat reduction,Classic like feel.
I donât remember this actually being a confirmed thing so i tried to look it up and only thing i could find was
âSkittish is a flat 80% threat reduction for tanks. No âaggro loss per secondâ, no ârandom aggro dropsâ, plain and simple 80% reduction. Usually tanks generate 10x damage dealt as threat, with skittish itâs only 2x damage dealt. Bringing one or more hunters and/or rogues for misdirection/tricks of the trade helps a lot!â
Which specifies that random aggro drops were not a thing in legion, at least not in 7.1.5 and 7.2, couldnât find anything past that.
I guess i wasnât entirely clear in what i meant with âhow it workedâ.
In legion we had an abundence of threat from the tank, meaning that even with skittish tank would never lose aggro if he did damage and didnât kite. The counterplay was to not pump on pull, but wait for 3 seconds and then you were good.
In BFA threat can be a problem even on non-skittish weeks, so adding skittish on top makes it hell for some burst classes, and it brings with it a thing that should never happen in this game, and that is ripping threat 15+ seconds into a pull on a target the tank is focusing hitting with everything they have while they have a hunter misdirection on them.
It is ridiculous that i can rip threat that late into a pull with a hunter + tank generating threat for the tank, and the fact that i am ranged so i need 130% threat to rip it compared to melees 110%.

Idk man, what i wrote is from my personal experience.I remember during Legion having moments when aggro suddenly dropped from normal to lost.
BFA is more gradual and i can see from nameplates color change and usually have plenty time to react.
For pulls you are right,quite often i have to shoot anima to snap aggro instead of using it how its meant.
In Legion pull was always snappy skittish or not.

Doesnât really matter when you rip aggro with a dot, canât exactly stop it.

Storming ? Yeah, I thought this game has too little tornado mechanics.
Another season in which playing range is way easier than melee.
Honestly, I prefer Skittish ten over this new Storming affix.
I think it ties in with there being a cap to how many targets you can simultaneously hit with AOE/Cleave attacks.
Skittish was just a non-affix, but i liked teeming.
Shouldâve got rid of bolstering or necrotic instead, those are just big middle fingers to you.
And lets not even talk about Tyrannical
