Hello Everyone!
A few Affliction changes that i would like to see implemented or changed in Shadowlands.
These changes are based on the alpha build.
Class-Wide:
NEW Spell lock: causes your Felhunter to interrupt its target for 6s. If you have no Felhunter summoned then you interrupt the target for 3s.
NEW Soul Tap (1 soul shard, instant)
Consumes a Soul shard restoring 20% mana, also causes your next Summon Demon to cast 66.6% faster. (Its very rare but not impossible to run out of mana, and it seems Shadowlands adds manacosts to a few more abilities, ex.: Siphon Life, Phantom Singularity, Unstable Affliction, Dark Soul: Misery)
(6s cast on Summon Demon is way too long)
Curse of Enfeeblement
Merge Curse of Weakness and Curse of Tongues.
(Less mandatory spot for Warlocks in raiding)
Bring back Curse of Elements (does not stack with Demon hunter)
Increasing magic damage taken by 5%.

Abilities:
Remove Curse of Doom
Darkglare moved to the talents.
Baseline Dark Soul: Misery
Baseline Drain Soul (deals the same damage as Shadowbolt, below 20% it deals 100% extra damage)
Baseline Shadowbolt (deals the same damage as Drain Soul, below 20% it refreshes all your dots on the target)
Baseline Grimoire of Sacrifice: Grants you an ability based on your sacrificed demon, and also causes your Unstable Affliction to erupt every 3s dealing your sacrificed pet’s auto-attack damage. (Sacrifice Felhunter now grants Devour magic instead of spell lock.)
Corruption: Duration increased to 24s
Unstable Affliction: Duration increased to 15s
Seed of Corruption (1.5s cast)
Talents:
Tier1:
- Nightfall: Corruption damage has a chance to cause your next Shadow Bolt to be instant and deal 50% increased damage. Below 35% health it refreshes all your dots on the target instead of 20% health
- Weakened Soul: Agony damage has a chance to make your next drain Soul channel 50% faster. Drain soul deals 100% extra damage below 35% health instead of 20% health.
- Deathbolt: Launches a bolt of death dealing damage based on the number of dots on the target
Tier2:
- Writhe in Agony: agony ramps to 18 stack
- Unstable Corruption: Unstable Affliction also applies Corruption to the target and Corruption deals 25% extra damage.
- Siphon Life: Heals for 100% damage, Duration increased to 21s.
Tier3:
- Demon Skin: same
- Burning Rush: Consumes a nearby corpse to make you move 50% faster, if no corpse is available you lose 20% health. Lasts 10s (10yard range, 5s cd)
- Dark Pact: same
Tier4:
- Sow the Seeds: same
- Phantom Singularity: same
- Vile Taint: same
Tier5:
- Darkfury: Makes your Shadowfury instant cast. Also reduces its cooldown by 15s.
- Mortal Coil: same
- Curse of Exhaustion: Reduces the target’s movement speed by 50% for 12sec.
Tier6:
- Shadow Embrace: same
- Haunt: same
- Malefic Grasp: While channeling Drain Soul, your damage over time effects deal 20% increased damage to the target.
Tier7:
- Darkglare: same
- Creeping Death: same
- Rapid affliction: reduces the gcd of your dots and the cast time of your Unstable affliction to 0.5s.
PvP talents:
Unstable Portal (30s cooldown, instant, 1 soul shard)
Empowers your Unstable Affliction for 10s. If Unstable Affliction is dispelled it opens a portal and warps the dispeller to the warlock’s position.
Tongue tied: same
Rot and Decay: same but with Drain Soul
Essence Drain: same but with Drain Soul
Casting Addiction: (15s cooldown, 1 soul shard, no gcd)
Consume a soul shard to make your next spellcast uninterruptible. lasts 3s.
