As a healer, no.
If a warlock just stands there, he’s going to die. Nothing I can do about it. It’s just a matter of when, not if.

In defence of Affliction, it’s almost all rot damage. Having even gear and a unpressured healer helps mitigate whatever they throw at you.
It’s a caster with limited mobility without prior setup. Make use of interupting casts so they are also unable to setup their DoTs and they’ll have a miserable time.
Even better if you have a harsh burst window.

Affliction is a punching bag, everyone hates it, everyone blame it, he has 1 big def cd for 8 sec.
If it has no dmg, ppl gonna hate them more.
Believe me, its really frustrating when healers at 2300 still grab and pull me out of my portal range and then blame them for not porting 
Im maining an affli and R shaman, i love both.
With resto shaman Locks go at least 3, cause I know how to heal them, and how to react them.
When Im with my lock, healers go out of the map, not getting help from teammate, healers stand in open and running everywhere but not around my portal. And they just cry when my only short cd def (the portal) gone and he is outside of the map and always go for a wrong place.
Maining an affli is really frustrating, its better to go with diabled chat and edited by a moderator

Is that an Affliction warlock at 1750 MMR and everyone’s dying?
In high-rated PvP, warlocks have a hard time surviving, and they’re also the only class that’s completely dependent on casting. They have to cast all the time - always, always, always.
Double Blink on mages is way scarier. They use it at the very first opportunity without thinking at all and still survive every time.
All warlock specs should get buffs.
