Make Siphon Life baseline.
-
Buff malefic rapture by around 15% on targets with Unstable Affliction.
-
Redesign the Creeping Death talent to make the dots tick faster in the same duration.
-
Add a curse that makes the part of the warlocks damage threat go to the voidwalker in noninstanced areas.
lol no.
do you have any idea how over powered AFF lock is right now in arena/ RBG
nerf warlock in my opinion
Well you could nerf the total damage done in pvp then. Affli is at the bottom in pve. Season 4 is coming later and I seriously dont want a tier where I cant get invited><
I dont do arena but I have a hard time beliving that an affli lock who got one single school of magic and dots ticking for 300 causes problem in arena, especially after the perma-slow legendary, ua dispell and magic circle nerf.
Are you sure you dont mean destro?
while destro and demo are indeed strong too in pvp.
aff lock is also very strong, we cant give afflocks siphon dot as they already have too much healing with drain life +soul rot combo
and malefic rupture is still hitting hard and would hit harder with an added dot
- if anything they should nerf the healing for afflock and make corruption non dispelable
- in pve they could ramp the dmg of agony and corruption but keep the dmg untouched in pvp
They could reduce the pvp power and healing power in pvp like they did with fire mage buffs.
I just want to be viable. Afflli warlock deals about 3/4 of demo according to logs. : (
demo is broken, its parsing at 103% over other classes in dps in the current raid tier
and destro is doing really good with the tier set bonuses giving free chaos bolts
if anything the specs need tuning but NOT buffing

In 9.2.5 we’re planning adjustments to a few PvP talents for specs that could benefit from mechanical changes, beyond the scope of our standard balancing (which will continue separately, as needed). Since these will be limited and the changes are aimed at addressing specific concerns, feedback on your experiences with these classes and effects during 9.2.5 will be valuable for informing future development.

Warlock
-
Demonic Embrace now increases your Stamina by 20% (was 10%) in PvP Combat.
-
Demon Armor (PvP Talent) has been removed.
-
Affliction
- New PvP Talent: Shadowfall – Gain the Nightfall talent with 100% increased chance to cause your next Shadow Bolt to be instant. If you already have this talent, you may select another in the same row.

Just because demo is broken DOESN’T mean aff is bad.
Demo is broken in offensive and deffensive.
Summoning 1000 demon each one hitting you for 5% of your HP every second is fun NOT.
I feel that Blizzard is usually treating feral druids, outlaw rogues and affli locks the same in every expansion.
They dont care. If these specs are in the top, its because Blizzard forgot to care about the numbers, and then slaps them down the tier list for the rest of the expansion.
Bm hunters and ret paladins are treated the same but atleast they dont need to push 50 buttons and deal 3/4 of other dpsers damage.
Och no , 1 of 3 dps spec lock has isnt meta ? Lets buff it .
Like for real already, its like BM hunters complaining about BM while both MM and surv are top tiers . I get it, your spec isnt best, but your class is ( and role most importantly) is prrfectly fine
this is a new affliction lock change… the talent row is being changed for pvp purposes i think
This argument worked better before when every spec felt similar like back in tbc.
I feel like demo is a whole different class than affli now, and if I play demo, I dont find the game enjoyable at all.
Affli is doing like -20% of what a medium class should do. I want it to be in the middle, not the top. I can tolerate not being on the top but I want to be invited to content and do something.
I am starting to lose my patience with this game now even if I dont want to.
Yea but its still your class , still your toon . Imagine you play ret which has only one dps spec and u love that spec , and your toon, but u “have” to rerol to furt war which is completly different just because u wanna perform . There isnt any other option, either be stuck with bad spec or quit your toon, in those terms u have it way better .
Also, i said u have two other very good specs so i doubt blizz will buff affs just to please someone .
No idea what rankings looks like now, dont care realy, also dont know what content you do, but even with how bad aff locks are, there are still some doings 20s+ so i assume it aint impossible .
I know this doesnt fix your issue because people are dumb and chase meta even if they dont understand what is good and why , but it shows that it might be worth sticking with if if u dont like anything else .
Just quit if u feel like, i came back after like 6 months for new season, reroled to paladin, pushed ksm, pvp is joke , no time for raids, dont realy feels like pushing for 20s because portals arent even acc wide and i cba for those 13 ilvl on conduits . So now after 3 weeks of play i decided to quit again, and will most likely come back in like 2 months when catalyst is open to have some fun on some alts .
Nothing bad on quitin or taking break if u arent happy playing.
are you having troubles with affliction warlocks at 600 rating? how many do u even see there? one per week?
lol 600 rating. why is your profile hidden btw? you hiding something non relevant ?
Wl should need a major nerf.
your 3v3 rating is 700
was 6__ last time
so answer.
as dk with magic zone, stuns, grips interupt green solo magic shield xd
i wasnt disagreeing with you that i dont play 3v3,
im just asking why your profile is hidden
Why should affliction warlock get a major nerf?
We are at the bottom of m+ and raids.
Tell me, why?
What should be nerfed in affliction warlocks? Why do you think the nerfs are deserved?
And how will the nerfs bring affli warlocks to the middle of the dps list when they are at the bottom before the nerfs?
Will the nerfs make you want to accept an affliction warlock in your high keys?
I want you to give me a great argument;)
:D:D:D There are other ways to say you are bad at the game.
