When PvP gearing was scarce, with a terrible ilvl and tied to a lot of RNG, and we also had to spam boring WQ and dungeons for AP, you all came and told us: “well, it’s just a mini-game, and you should play all types of content if you want the best gear anyway”.
Well, now, I have a full set of 220 gear just for spamming arena, with no RNG involved thanks to a currency system, while you guys get nothing at the end of your M+15. And you complain about it on the forums.
I feel bad for the few PvE players I’ve met who did side with us when PvP gearing was unfair. But for the majority of you, all I can say is:
No side suffers alone… We all suffer equally, we all players and the content is there and available for all of us depending how we take our enjoyment.
Gearing always been hit and miss with people, some like some don’t, what seems to be the case is that we still don’t have that middle ground a majority are saying they enjoy(just some preferences).
I feel uneasy that people look at it from this perspective, like it’s one versus the other when you can play this game for years and years and play many different aspects.
Want solid systems players are happy with on both sides so that more people step into the content, enjoy it and stay, giving some kind of healthy cycle.
Resilience and strict PVP gear should have never been removed. It worked perfectly all the way up to WoD.
Then it was adjusted so the care bear PVE-ers can go in arena with their full out raid gear and do their PVE rotation on you until you die, dps-ing you down like a boss.
Would it be the end of the world if no one suffered, especially when it’s down to a company designing systems in a game we all pay to play? huuuummmm… ?
