I was watching today video where devs talking about future of SoD characters and it seems they cant fit nowhere because items we got in sod. Maybe is insane but I think TBC as Sod but with new runes so this will be completely purged, deleted from the game. What do u think can this be as good idea or bad one!?

TBC is already a more finished and balanced base product than vanilla, the main concept of SoD “to make every spec viable” would not be needed in tbc.

They are sending Classic plus petitions for some streamers, so i guess after Season of Discovery we will get finally something similar to T-WoW.
Im sure, no one will miss Season of Discovery.
Sod is seasonal. It’s OK to delete everything when it’s done. Use what’s good for classic+ ditch everything else. I have enough characters across all realms to not miss this one.
And btw 99% of those characters wont be played even if they make some place to transfer them so why bother.
People have no brain to see that this is Just a beta test for classic+

They will 100% add more Wrath / TBC expansions in the future as they have said, so my estimation is that with ~80% probability we’ll be allowed to transfer to a TBC project that will open shortly after SoD

In one of the interviews before Cata release they said they will definitely do other TBC / Wrath projects in the future
Also in his last interview about SoD Ebonhardt said that our characters 100% are going to be playable after SoD ends and it’ll not be Era realms

SoD TBC is useless (TBC is already balanced) and insulting: we already got wasted by Classic vanilla now going Cata, thanks but not thanks.
In other words, ditch SoD, start from scratch and actually make classic + instead of retail minus.
I found very funny how many streamers was promotin vanilla as best game ever and then when Blizzard finally released classic again hype was real whole few months untill u could hear only sound of crickets.
Classic cata will going in direction of Legion and mage tower which will bring even more retail players to play it. Even players who stop to play retail.
But sod dont fit no where atm and having 2 era servers is just stupid.
My vote go to sod move to tbc sod would have perfect sense. Imagine all that raids with extra mehanic, bonus boses… Illidan with twin dual boss fight.
SoD is the gateway to Classic+ forget about TBC.

Imagine no more World Buffs in Raids. That alone would be a reason to go into TBC!
I and most others hate that BS and it was never intended to be that way.
TBC has way more to offer but just the fkn 3 rows of buffs that you can have from alchi and consumables give me cancer. TBC did well in reducing that to 1 x food + 1 x flask.
