- If we didn’t complete the Scarlet Raid because we quit before that, do we not get a MoP boost (or preferably a TBC boost/transfer)?
I dont feel like that raid is the only valid measurement of how much time and work we put in our characters.
Yes. Blizzard said that sod will have its own “era” servers, that will exist infinetely, same as classic era servers.
No. Game versions are too different.
It is what it is. And you dont need to complete full raid, just kill first boss. I am sure that before mop prepatch there will be many 40-ppl blue gear raids just to that boss just to complete achieviemt. I dont think that it will be hard to get to such raid.
They’ll stay on SoD era for a few months (Or years!) until it’s shut down is what they’ve said so far.

Honestly with that knowledge I kinda start to Wonder. Did players love SoD for what it brought into table or was it because it obviously had the most attention of dev team. Yeah I know MMOs don’t like stagnation yet at the same time you see people screaming for Era Servers at basically any expansion.
I dont know why others like it, but i can tell you why i liked it.
It’s much more chill and less RNG gear drop punshing version of classic.
Designed in mind for people with family, job that play other games and got more than 2 brain cells.
It wasn’t easier, it was just less time consuming than normal classic.
