Is there anyone here that managed to kill aggramar in the solo lfr that got added this week? The issue I face is the knockback since it only mitigates if you share it with other players.
I didnāt try it yet, but Legion content isnāt meant to be entirely soloable hence why it still has PL.
Well yes but I am not talking about soloing it on normal but on the solo lfr option that got added with 8.1 . I assumed they would have changed this mechanic since you are forced to do it solo but it looks like theyā¦forgot?

it can take a while for these boss fight mechanics to be retuned for a solo player
remember BRF?
Iām pretty sure you can do LFR in a premade group?

I talked to a nice GM about the LFR solo queue npc, and that i had some problems on some of the raids.
In my example i used the Trial of Valor, where one is supposed to separate Hyrja and Hemdal in order to defeat them, and that it was difficult to do so, on some classes.
He said:
" I took a look at your issue and I would like to clarify that this encounter was designed with a group of level 110 characters in mind. As such, this mechanic is meant to be countered by having both tanks in the group split up these bosses.
Whether or not it is intended that this buff remains now after the release of BFA, I canāt answer this question. However, historically, the Development Team has been known to remove obstacles such as this one that prevent players from soloing old content. As such, I have now escalated your feedback directly to the Development Team and hopefully this was nothing more than an oversight that will be resolved soon."

They should leave it in, just to teach people to make an actual group for once.

Isnāt it still there though? Itās just reached the point of sheer level difference where we can just punch through the damage reduction on the adds during phase 2? Correct me if iām wrong ofc

They made some adjustment to Gorefiend in HFC, but itās the assault that needs one, imo. Easiest would be to just require one cannon to stay alive.
Some were nerfed faster than others, as well.
I regularly help a friend do Assault. Itās bizarre how that changed to no longer be a solo-able event.
It had to be the most boring fight one as well didnāt it xD
Sounds like itās similar to Emperors in AQ40ā¦ only way to overcome that, solo was to overgear it. That said, those two in ToV donāt share a health pool, so it still may require a 2-man team to overcome.
Yupā¦ that first Boss still requires 2, minimum; rest I would think could be soloād/outgeared as is.
Which Bossā¦? Only ānot efficiently soloableā Boss is Blast Furnace, as it needs both vents worked on at the same time.
Think it was Blast Furnace, vents werenāt an issue but the killing off adds were, without mind control.

been farming it for a few weeks and you can take the vents down one at a time on mythic
Not seen any requirement for mind controllingā¦ unless you mean the Slag Elementals that break the āshieldsā of Primal Elementalistsā¦?
Only done that fight as MDPS, solo/2-man, soā¦
They did finally change it but for years it required MC on mythic.
