This is a terrible excuse. If you had communicated your ideas for things like Blood Moon or Incursions way before the release date players could have pointed out obvious issues that we’d knew pop up from a player perspective and allowed you to iron out those kinks before launch. This idea that “we know better” is proven wrong by the horrendous launch states of phase 2 and 3.

Finally, again as I have stated multiple times before, I think it is extremely disrespectful of Aggrend, unprofessional, to use a third party social media addiction tool to spread information about your game rather than the official forums.
I wrote it on kavaxis last post he put up, pure scum is what they are, to scared to talk about the real problems. To scared to say the truth like look, we have a small team sucks we have to choose which version we work on but blame blizzard and complain to them theres nothing i can do but quit my job.
EDIT they are actually the real problem considering they are our voices to the top of the chain and they refuse to convey our anger towards the top
Everyone else is also unprofessional so that excuses Blizzards unprofessionalism because this is the new norm and we should just accept that the official forums are disregarded as a means of communication from the developers.

totally agree they promised on 30th of April class balance changes to hunt shaman lock and mage but the mage changes are still not there 1month since the post this tells you enough how invested they are on sod they just forget about things they say they will do
they need to stop sitting on their thumbs and work overtime to get this train moving.
they’re already very late on schedule as it is, and they are taking their sweet merry time, and i am tired of hearing bad excuses like “its summer, go outside” or “go play another game” or whatever it might be.
watch people in any other profession tell their customers that, and see how long they manage to stay afloat.
how about the multi million billion trillion dollar company hire some more staff so we, the customers, won’t be screwed over time and time again?
blizzard has more broken than upheld promises at this point, and frankly nothing they say can be trusted anymore.
the good will has dried up, people are angry, tired and frustrated, and to ignore this fact and act like the community is in the wrong in any way, shape or form, is peak amateurism.
the customer is always right, and that goes double for gaming.

discord encourages powermongers to exercise their mod powers (any good mod knows that you don’t do that unless its absolutely necessary) but every “game dev discord” i’ve been a part of just can’t help themselves from implementing arbitrary rules they don’t even tell anyone about, and then suddenly “banned for inappropriate language” when you called someone stupid or an idiot.
to say the rules are always arbitrary and ambiguous to the point nobody (not even the devs) can even recite any specifics regarding their long list of rules is a massive problem everywhere, especially on blizzard forums.
we’re far from the days where you got banned for “extreme” cases like throwing the n-word around.
these days you can get banned for intellectually dunking on a mod who took offense because he was outsmarted on i.e an in-game mechanic.
can’t have the supposed professional look like a noob.

they were supposed to dedicate themselves to THIS project, and now suddenly they are tasked with working on cata.
the truth is that the shareholders/suits at the top saw the lighting they caught in a bottle with SoD, greed took over, and they were like “do the same with these other games”
and naturally this results in overtime because the workload is too heavy.
and again, greed is the name of the game, so minimum investment for maximum profits mean they aren’t going to hire game masters, more devs, or even interns.
honestly, i will not be surprised if we end up hearing aggrend and co. will be even MORE overworked, probably gonna have to patch up the wounds of retail wow when war within comes out, because god know retail is doing terribly at the moment.
getting rid of bobby was a step in the right direction, but there are clearly still remnants that need to be expunged from the company and never allowed back in.

No. i don’t think so.
i think they are doing damage control and that’s all they are doing right now.
i personally believe they are hopelessly behind schedule and they basically have nothing to show for phase 4 yet, otherwise they would have hinted at SOMETHING.
but now, we are 2 blueposts deep since people started screaming “MORE CONTENT PLS” and they still haven’t given even a single hint of things to come.
