I currently mostly play frost spec so I am not sure if this issue exists also on other specs. The best way to describe my issue is to say that aggro is not reset when I leave the combat by either dying or using invisibility. This is being a pain in Torghast. Imagine you die to the final boss, seeing the final boss is back to their position with full health reset and everything, and you, upon reviving, witness that the boss is immediately aggroed and is running across the whole room towards you. A similar thing happens when using the Invisibility spell. If I get rid off it after the mob returned to their position they sometimes decide to just return to combat for no reason. This is just pain for Torghast but it is the real issue for mythics+. It’s not really nice when you suddenly aggro mobs that are half the instance away from you. Anyone experiencing the same problem?
I am having a same issue.
I am night fae with dreamweaver/podtender
Specifying a covenant is a good idea! Even though most of the mages are Night Fae probably, but it still can help if some mage with different covenant say they have the same problem it can rule out covenant/soulbind choice.
I am NF as well with the same soul bind choice.
Its just an aggro bug, its not tied to covenants or anything.
I believe its because on some torghast maps there are disconnected “islands” so blizzard implemented a feature to have the mobs teleport to you if you manage to use something like door of shadows or grapling hook to try and escape those mobs by making them bug out with evade.
I have noticed the same bug when trying to reset mobs in instanced zones, thought it has happened to me out in the open as well. Sometimes in works, sometimes it doesn’t.
It happened to me as well in both instanced zones and open world.
Yes, sometimes it works, in instances it doesn’t too often and causes problems especially in keystone runes. I can live with torghast being bugged especially since they nerfed the duration of runs but keystones are really an issue.
