I’m a 37-year-old gamer looking for an easy-going community to join and people to play with.
I’m relatively new to WoW, having tried out classic a year ago (good, but too slow for me) and started retail a couple of months before Shadowlands launched. I’ve since managed to level my paladin all the way to 60 and grind a modest amount of renown and anima with the Kyrians. I honestly think I’m not very good at the game (yet) and I have no desire of ever doing any content that contains the word “mythic”, so any guilds looking to bolster their raid teams and such should look elsewhere. However, I am friendly, polite, and helpful by nature, and I really enjoy assisting other players during quests or just randomly out in the world. I would not mind learning to heal and be of more help to others that way, but at the moment I have zero experience with playing a healer spec, having mostly solo’ed my way through the content.
A big appeal for me is exploring the world and taking in the sights and sounds, and so far, I’ve greatly enjoyed the ride. I have way too many alts as I also like to try out different classes, check out the various starting areas and explore the older content through Chromie. I guess leveling & questing interest me the most, though I would not mind running more dungeons or even a raid at some point. Unfortunately, time limitations due to having a full-time job and a family make that tricky at best. But I’m really keen on just meeting new people and hanging out and seeing what being with a like-minded bunch of folks would do for the overall experience.
I have no idea whether there is a community or guild out there for the likes of me and I would greatly appreciate any nudges in the right direction!
