Thanks to everyone who attended! It was great to see people mingling between the few crowds, and I’m thinking maybe the melee at the end should become a traditional occurrence.

Update update!
The next event will most likely be at some point in January, as the holidays are a bit busy and historically low on player activity. I’ll post an update when we have a date and place.

The next gathering will be in the weekend of the 13/14th of January!
We have a location in mind but I’ll share it a bit closer to the event, just so that we are sure about the placements of Fyrakk and the Dreamsurge. Looking forward to seeing everyone then, and happy holidays!

The location is Forkriver Crossing in the Ohn’ahran Plains. It will be free of both fire dragons and rogue Emerald energies. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Does this mean I would have to have the ‘DragonFlight’ expansion to get there?
Also, side question, is there a way to DM people on this forum/battle.net platform?

Yup, it’s a zone from Dragonflight. It should be easy enough to arrange a warlock summon if you do get the expansion, though, the outpost seems safe for low levels.
I don’t think there’s a way to DM people through the forums, but I’ll be online around 19 game time if you need to drop me a whisper about anything. =)
Once again, a huge thanks to everyone who came to RP, it’s been great catching up with the other guilds after the holidays! The conversations have been great, sorry I couldn’t interact with everyone, and the melee at the end was really fun to watch, in a chaotic, gladiatorial kind of way. >:)

Hail! A quick update, the next expedition gathering will likely be sometime during March. I’ll be sure to make a more detailed post when we have a date and place in mind.
Updates time!
The next summit will be at the last weekend of March, on the 30th/31st, and will take place at the Shady Sanctuary, in the western area of the Ohn’ahran Plains. It is a thematic location that offers creative liberties, given that, to my knowledge, the guilds are all at different stages of the Emerald Dream story. That might also be the reason this next gathering focuses more on socialising and activities rather than plot-related discussions, but that is something that will be figured out in advance.
As always, feel free to contact me in-game if anyone has any questions or suggestions. =)

It has been a while since we attended such a gathering.
We have even, after careful consideration, taken a proper name.
I know Paul, or Pawle as some might know him by, would like a chance to meet some people again,
but considering recent events, I suspect our main Ebon Blade contact (and my brother)
John would prefer to be our representative this time -
if we are able to send someone.

A slightly late update but thanks to everyone who attended! The Dragonscale Expedition is very grateful for the items donated at the Surprlus exchange efforts, and many a great display of martial prowess was seen at the jousting and the melee on the second day.

Soon(?) another summit will be upon us. And maybe some new faces will show up–who knows?

We have a date for the next one: the weekend of the 15th/16th of June! It seems to be the best date for the majority of us to catch up with plotlines, especially as we plan to host it at Bel’ameth, where we will also celebrate the blooming of Amirdrassil.
Given the looks of things, patches and upcoming expansions, this might be the last official gathering in its capacity as a Dragonscale Expedition event for Dragonflight. But if The War Within takes a while to come out, we can pretty easily organise additional meet-ups.

Elune’adore, brave fighters whose many a blade, spear, arrow and spell struck down the enemies of all - the followers of Fyrakk the Blazing whose fires would have turned all life to cinders and ash.
In the Goddess’s eyes, your efforts shall be celebrated, for the members of the Dragonscale Expedition are hereby invited to the boughs of Amirdrassil, newly emerged and without a doubt already seen by all in the waters west of the Ohn’ahran Plains. Casks shall be opened, glasses raised and songs sung for the victory over the flame.
All are welcome to attend the celebration, which will continue for two days and nights at the week’s end. On the first day, an opening shall be held at the port town of Belanaar. Introductions, doubtless unnecessary between allies of old, will be held and respite offered after the journey to the island; and as the moon rises, a pilgrimage shall be had to the center of the island, beneath the roots of the great tree, for a sermon and a suitable blessing to conclude the evening.
The second day of the celebration will include a feast, music and games.
The efforts of the Dragonscale Expedition, its scholars, artisans and warriors, have been invaluable in the exploration of this awakened land and the banishment of those who would see it harmed. The Kaldorei, too, converge on their new home with hearts full of hope that their hardships have come to an end. As such, I am certain that those attending the celebrations will remain respectful of the settlers and keep the peace without an intervention by our vigilant rangers.
Goddess’s blessings to all who read these words; may we all find joy in the two nights’ festivities.

Big thanks to Mayron for the great summary of the events, and thanks to everyone who attended! It’s been a blast organising these with the other guilds, here’s hoping we can do something similar in the next expansion!

"The Dragonscale Expedition held little promise to me at the start. Coming out of a long war and captaining a Warband, I expected to carry out something else in the Horde’s name. Instead, the scouting, logistics and skirmishing we in the Beastmaw have been so accustomed to aided something different.
We came sailing to these Dragon Isles along with those we had named enemies not four years back, and included civillians in our ranks. It was not a war, not even a fully fledged military campaign - it was an expedition. And in that, there was glory too.
I have not the hands for long messages, so for those reading I have these words: if you were of the expeditionary force that attended the seasonly summits, I say thank you. For the partnership, for the reassurance that reinforcements were never far in times of need, and for the bruises at the duels that became customary each season.
For so long as the Horde retains its honour, you will find comrades within my Warband.
