[A/H] [RP-Service] Dungeon Masters for Hire - Looking for (experienced) Dungeon Masters (Guild in Build-Up)

I created this character a few months ago in my old Guild to try out DMing. Instead I had today the idea at work “what if I make a guild instead with this character, focusing with others on serving as dungeon masters for their events, so they can focus on RPing for entertainment?”

Now my question is, are other users on this Realm also interested in this idea? Because if it would be done right, this guild could massively benefit the Realm as a whole for RP.

This guild of course could get support from the guilds/groups that hire us for our efforts in other things as compensation for the time and effort put in.

Important note: Since I work regularly and are active on other alts atm, it could take some time to respond on this thread. So, don’t feel discouraged if I respond late.

31.7.24 - Update on the Guild Concept

As of a few seconds ago, the guild has officially been named and reserved. For now the guild will remain in build-up, since I will be required to find more people, especially experienced people with a history of DMing Events.

So, to conclude this message, here a few details about the Name and Concept.

Name: “Dungeon Masters for Hire”
Type of Guild: Service Guild

Description: A guild created and lead by people willing to narrate, operate and design Roleplay Event Activities for people to enjoy in exchange for Support with other things in the game or for gold payment.

Concept Idea:

  • Guild focuses solely on designing and executing Roleplay events based on requests in highest quality as possible (via toys, mogs, etc.)
  • Various types of Roleplay will be featured (from casual dialogue/emote based ones up to even number-based, nerdy DnD like experiences)
  • Optionally, the entire event experiences can also be developed by the Guild without any suggestions and wishes from a contractor, allowing for a surprising experience for everyone involved.
  • Guild also offers individual “Villain for Hire” as a secondary, smaller service.

  • TRP3
  • TRP3 Extended
  • Musician

Recommended Addons:

  • Elephant

Great initiative, I’m not sure if Argent Dawn ever had such a guild before.

Perhaps it’s smart to also have people that act as NPC’s for the planned events, so that it is not a complete Dungeon Master guild but acts as a hireable antagonist guild with a complete event planning package.

If you gather the manpower, why waste it to fight and interact with raid markers :smiley:

I second this, in my guild there are amazing dm’s all with their own methods and systems. This might be something to keep in mind when continueing this concept. Each and everyone might bring their own system to the table with which they feel comfortable dm’ing with.

Can’t wait to see how this concept turns out!
