Is this normal, ive sold stacks upon stacks of materials and i havent gotten the money nor the items back so is this AH thing still broken? and if so why have blizzard removed the warning message about AH in the character selectionpage

It’s not normal, just due to recent patch.
Blizzard have acknowledged it too, you can see a message on the bnet launcher before you launch in regards to mail.
Also in same boat, many players are, not just auction house but any mailing from players can have this effect so watch out if you send between alts too and don’t wanna get stuck.
Put your tin foil hats on, this is an attempt to extend subscription time by making your ah mail run just over your sub renewal so that you have to renew in order to get your ah money.
