After he became Deathwing, from Sintharia (who was the only mate known to have survived the mating), he had the twins, Neferian and Onyxia and Nyxondra
Nyxondra was forced by the Red Dragon Rheastrasza to lay eggs in hopes of laying a uncorrupted black dragon egg. Eventually, Rheastrasza and Dr. Hieronymus Blam succeeded in creating a purified black dragon egg with an ancient titan device, a black whelp corpse, a wild black dragon egg and one of Nyxondra’s eggs (tho’ was killed by Deathwing) and that egg hatched to be Wrathion
Wrathion is Neltharion’s grandson
Sabellian is Neltharion’s son
So Seb is his uncle…
The Shattering (the Cataclysm) was 28 after the Dark Portal, Deathwing died in 29. So Wrathion was born either 28 or 29. Dragonflight started in 40.
Wrathion actually either 11 or 12 years old, while Sabellian, since he was born probably before Neltharion became Deathwing 10.000 years ago (Sabellian is not Sintharia’s son and only she survied the mating with the corrupt Aspect, thus his mother must have laid the egg before the insanity) he is at least 10.000 years old…
I don’t think there is any real competition who will be the new Black Aspect 
I wondered what happened with Rhea’s story. Never knew that egg became Wrathion. Seemed like just another abandoned storyline.
Sadly the next part was only for Rogues in Cataclysm. They had the pleasure to experience the rest. If you have a Rogue, do the Legendary Dagger Quests by doing Dragon Soul over and over again.
Rhea’s egg I kept banked all these years. I should take it to the Isles.

Sabellian also isnt free of the corruption. His claim of being rid of it is worthless. The source is currently gone since we eradicated it. The moment an old god comes into contact with him hes gone. Its not a feat to not succumb to it while youre located in Outland and return after said source has been dealt with.
Also Wrathion aided in saving Azeroth numerous times. Sabellian didnt do it once. And his feats in outland are also mainly attributed to us. Even Ebenhorn has a stronger claim than he does.
Worth to mention usually he caused the said problem he helped to solve… 
Even for the little stunt with Garrosh he should have been executed
Anduin gave him a good smack in the face.
Wrathion is right there in my top 4 fav characters along with Bwonsamdi, Sylvanas and the Lich King.
So good to have so much of him this xpac

Wrathion is being a very arrogant and self entitled little whelp this expansion. I really prefer Sabellion as he is more mature and acts like an aspect. However, probably means he is evil really and also, what’s he done for Azeroth?
Tbh I think Ebyssian should be aspect but he is happy being a tauren ig.
Wrathion also tried to wipe out the Horde, invaded Azeroth with the iron Horde and is responsible for the last legion invasion which was only possible due to Garrosh breaking free. Sabellian is the right choice.
