Some people seem to have AI or Addon Botts to buy stuff from AH in 1/4 of a second… They post (for example Bismuth Bronze Tier) for a Much lower price… Then people think that is the lowest price so they post their Auctions for that ammount, no cheating there, BUT the thing is they buy it out INSTANT… Test it yourself and UPDATE price on that ore… press mouse as FAST as you can on Update price button… 1 click an auction appear… next klick its gone… No HUMAN can possibly klick THAT FAST and buy Auctions… Not even close… Blizzard common… Cant be hard to track ppl that buy x1000 more auctions then 99% of all other people each day 24/7…
tbh on the first season i was about to buy some manually, but you should be very fast as there is many people in region tracking this. I did 100K gold by taking some low prices stocks and selling higher, and i was not reducing the prices myself. Yeah i got some issues with my hand by spamming to take those stocks 
Not bots, it is just whole EU buying highly volatile bismuth at the same time.
It is bots. You can test it yourself very simply:
Search for Bismuth, or any other “volatile” commodity. Look at the 3-4 lowest prices for it and the quantities for them. If you see some low quantities at those low prices and then a price with a huge amount of materials, then you can do the test.
- Repeat the search. You will see the quantities and prices have not changed
- Wait a few more seconds and repeat it. Again, no change.
- Post the item for the 3rd or 4th cheapest price, or in fact any price lower than the price that has the large quantity.
- Your item will be bought out within a few seconds, sometimes instantly.
- Do a search, you will see that the cheapest price is that of the large quantity.
- Come a few minutes later, you will see again some low quantities at lower prices than the large quantity.
Blizzard needs to increase the posting fee, and add a cancel fee on top of it.

I just put stuff on and check prices first… easy to avoid.
As explained in other posts.
It is an amount of 60 lines of addon code to check for an item ID with a cost below x and buying all of the amount y.
This code allows you to skip any confirmation window and you can bind it to a macro. Smash that macro and profit. Bind it to the scroll wheel if you like.
No need for bots. The addon API allows you to do that. And thereby it is allowed by blizz, as they provide the API.

Addionally its the whole of EU at the same time buying.
And you cant choose which auction you buy only how much. You always buy from the top of the stack.
Meaning. You put bismuth at low price into the ah, it is at the top of the stack. The next buyer anywhere in EU will buy exactly that option.
Check the prices before putting anything into the ah, as the gms wont refund anything.
i think at a point they should juste remove Lua APIs to automatic buy on AH. or enforce the confirmation on those API callback, to be fair with people without this method

Thats the cruical part. It is not automatic by the meaning of just log in and the addon will do it. You have to push a button for each cycle or the API will ignore your request.
But it is automatic in means of a single button press checks prices and buys if it fits.
And as you cant choose which commodity you buy but only how much it remains gambling even with an addon.
So the simple tip is check prices before selling. Take the first stack with hundreds of listings.
Or be part of the game and install or program an addon. TSM should be able to do that.
