I think that someone in Blizz is completely out of touch with reality. It’s 8 pm, there are about 10 people doing the event, after 15 minutes we have a progress of 5 out of 12. (I’m quite sure that in two hours there won’t be anyone here during the day tomorrow either.)
I have many profession alts (atm useless, because nothing can be produced and sold profitably in DF except for one super-mega OP neck and because trade channel is ruined and overwhelmed by M+ sellers spam) but I do weekly Accord with them just for the reputation.The idea that I will waste time with everyone of them at these **** events is absolutely sick.The persons responsible for the fact that these events must be completed w/ all alts every week should think about it again 
Community feast is easy soloable and fast but not this one, not the Siege, not the Vault w/o keys, those should be removed from weekly Accord * pool.If Blizzard wants to force people to do the event, there must be a better way to do it, only once per week per account, with one character.
I did not enjoy that event at all. Seems to just be endless fill the bar.
Just continue doing other accord ones and skip the new zone on alts, not worth it, atleast for now
It should be max 4 or 6 instead of 12. 12 is way too long. It makes me sleeping!
Only thing worth doing with alts in Zaralek is log in, find which WQs give transmog and do those, kill available rares and open treeasures along the way.
I don’t mind it being ‘fill the bar’ but it drags on too much, it feels like it should be half the duration it currently is.
I don’t get it tbh. I did 9/12 tasks yesterday (that’s when you include killing the watcher, sundered flame commander and such) and I got Tier 2 reward, despite that 9/12 gives you tier 3.
I guess you need to do this in a raid group for rewards. If I’m not mistaken, tier 4 reward for 12/12 tasks gives you Champion gear.
Theni its bugged as I got nothing. This whole event was bugged today. Every time the event was about to start the timer just reset.
This person who decided make such time limit event, low pop realms… its nightmare to finish it. Get a new job!
When does the Aiding the Accord quest reset? I always pick it up on Wednesday. Last week’s was that Suffusion Camp one. Is there another one already? Does it reset on Sunday?
Resets every Wednesday but carries over if you have not completed it. So if the Researches is annoying remember to dump it before Wednesday.
Aye but its not just this event. The WQ by the Djardin is just as annoying to solo. Especially as some of them npc’s have the most absurd boss like abilities and are immune to stuns, interrupts and pushbacks. Worse they get a shield you need to dps through whilst they then stun you for 8 secs and fire blast you to death. Those feel somewhat over tuned.

Researches event is part of this weeks Aiding the Accord. But as someone pointed out if its a small group its a bit of a nightmare to get done as those adds hit very hard. Low pop realms must be having a very hard time. Guess they could just make a group for some help.
Strange, I picked up the Aiding the Accord last Wednesday and did it on Saturday which was the Suffusion Camp one in O’Hanrahan Plains. I hadn’t a clue what was going on, I just jumped into fights and looted stuff and clicked things until it was done. Took me near an hour and was only possible because it was a Saturday evening and so there were other folk around.
Then your char wasn’t done on the campaign. My main had to do the event in the cave. My alts who had only access to loamm without doing much of the campaign had the outdoors event like you.
Yes they should really make a few chars on 90 % of the realms that struggle with enough people and just look around at the state of the game population wise out in the world before designing stuff like this
They should never put time limited events for aiding accords and also this researchers under fire requirement is extremely boring. You should join a raid group, turn off your brain and autoattack everything until it ends…
Ah, that makes sense. I’m only 2/9 chapters. I’m away for a few weeks and thought I’d hold off on doing the story til I got back, I should get them all then rather than having to wait for time-gated chapters.
I did it yesterday with a few people who were there. We killed Captain Reykal (I got the achivement for it) but he was still 0/1 on the screen. We waited the last 5 minutes but the quest didn’t count as finished and we got no reward for the event (assuming we should’ve had a reward like for the hunts).
Yep you get either a blue or purple bag once completed, assuming its not bugged and should get credit for completing. Not sure what determines the rare or epic bag, but on my monk I got a rare bag with a rare piece of gear, crests and rep and most of my alts I got the purple bag with epic gear in it.
