So I main horde and I often see the airdrop plane and pick up the supply crates, all working fine. Now i’m on an alliance character, 120 lvl, and everytime I see the supply plane in the alliance zone its:
A) A horde flagged plane (idk if this makes any difference, it still shows up on the map for me though) and
B) It never drops any actual crate. I follow it throughout the zone and it never drops any crate. No parachute, nothing on the map…
Are there no crates for alliance?? except for nazj?
Crates are neutral~ anything that is flagged for x faction was picked up by player of this faction. Players are supposed to fight for it you know!
in the alliance all extra rewards are directly deposit in your bags by warmode bonus deposits. Only thing that drops on this faction is the player count.
I know but my two questions remain:
I was wondering the same, had many situations when i followed that flying machine through entire zone to see it never drops any chest, i thought flying machine was alliance specific and zeppelin was horde specific, but i was certainly wrong.
Never had that issue. Though there has been times, only in Drustvar that I’m aware of, where it gets stuck inside a tree so you’re unable to loot it. It’s the ultimate tease - you’re literally a foot away from it, but you can’t interact with it at all.
It’s a Plane in Zuldazar, and a Zeppelin in Kul Tiras. The crate dropped is always neutral for either faction to open first, and they last for a minute for others to loot.
A crate is ALWAYS dropped. Look at the directional line it’s travelling, it’ll be along that path… sometimes very close to the edge of Zone. Check WoWHead maps for drop points, they’re always specific spots.
If the crate ends up inside the terrain, such as a tree, just move your camera to clip through somewhat so you can interact with.
